Apparently, the tiger has nothing to do with the Flyers. A tiger has a deep symbolism for strength and beauty in Russia....more and more, masks are about personality vs. team. granted, there's a Flyers logo on the front on the mask :)

Choking hard eh? if you're not a fan -- oh well. If your team doesn't win it all, it's always called choking in some way shape or form.

I give the Flyers a lot of credit. They're competitive every year, have one of the best fan bases in the league, are fun to watch. Love them or hate them, they're doing it right. I hardly consider them chokers when they made it to the Cup finals as an 8th seed (that clinched a spot on the last play of the game) 2 years ago.

Now, if you want to discuss better choking stories, we can move on to the Capitals who are all expectation and no results.

And I don't like this trend at all. Cowboys, Bruce Springsteen, Garth Brooks and now tigers. Those things don't belong on a hockey mask

Would have looked great for Princeton. Not too far from Philly, similar colors to Flyers and the tiger for a mascot. Take out the Flyers logo and I would have said Princeton for sure.

Yes, choking hard. I'm a coyotes fan, prior to that series I was a huge bryz fan, he did alot for PHX but in the playoffs he looked like he didnt give to shits and almost afraid of the puck like he was wearing road hockey equipment. Tha series could have went 6 or even 7 games again if he had played like he did in the regular season, who knows he could have maybe even stole the series for PHX

This is such a silly thing to say, and really doesn't belong in this thread. Stop embarrassing yourself.

If you consider yourself a true Coyotes fan (as I am too), how about acknowledging that without Bryz, the Yotes don't even make the playoffs. How about acknowledging Bryz taking a less than market value deal (on his last contract) coming off a Vezina Finalist campaign, to help out the Coyotes? Or, are you that myopic that you'll label him a choker for this past playoffs? Seriously, are you 12?? Not everyone can win every year. It's not like the Coyotes played your bantam team in this past years playoffs. They were playing the Red Wings, who last I checked, still have world class talent.

Not to mention Datsyuk played every shift in that series like he was posessed. NHL Network has been re-airing this series lately as part of their summer re-runs....yes, Bryz looked quesitonable at times, but was also not the beneficiary of good defence. He still made a lot of good saves. I agree, PHX would certainly be no where without Bryz - mediocre or not.

Got to handle the nexon12 yesterday. I was pleasantly suprises by how great it felt. Very light and balanced stick. The feel of it reminds me a bit of a widow and the taper looks similiar to warriors "dagger".
