Chara did have a S15 paint job last year. Not sure if it was a repaint. But I believe he is in a warrior stick this year if i remember correctly.

it's jut a black plastic protector that goes over the skates. I think pleky wears TO and gill X:60's but im not 100% sure

Yeah, we do because we're MSH members and talk amongst people who are actively involved in the world of hockey equipment/manufacturing/marketing. But most people don't know any of that stuff.

Should articles about things not be written simply because there is a group of people out there who already know about it?

Watching the Blues/Flames game today I couldn't believe Jay Bouwmeester using Warrior sticks. I know early in the season you'll see a lot guys try other manus, but Jay has been a long time Easton stalwart.

Pic is two-fold...Bouwmeester in the background using Warrior sticks, and Andy McDonald in the forefront using Eagle Talon gloves....first time I've seen them at the pro level.
