ambro 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2011 Played there a couple times before the 4 new NHL sized rinks were added, it is definitely a sweet arena. Best part is the Schwan's food/ice cream stuff for after the game.
BarDownGinos 3 Report post Posted July 10, 2011 The Super Rink is awesome, I went to a tryout there when it was just 4 rinks, I can only imagine that place now. I've played at some facilites in Denver and Detroit that have 3 sheets, you don't see many bigger though. I heard there's a facility in Calgary that has something like 5 or 6 sheets, anybody know the truth to that?
cooperalls 4 Report post Posted July 10, 2011 Burnaby, BC has Canlan Ice Sports 8 Rinks...it has 6 sheets for hockey, one sheet dedicated for figure skating, and one indoor soccer field.

bigdmac 12 Report post Posted July 11, 2011 There's a community centre just outside Toronto with 6 sheets, 3 NHL sized. Most arenas around here seem to have 3-4 for the most part, usually with at least one NHL sized pad.

Caz 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2011 Great Lakes Sports Center in Metro Detroit has 5.Isn't that Fraiser...Superior, Erie, Michigan, Huron, and Ontario? I haven't been there in 3-4 years, but the only nice rinks were Erie and Superior, all the other's were horrible in terms of the ice itself, even the bench's and everything and stands were beat up. Too many tournaments....good tournaments, but after like 10 a year + all the leagues, it got torn up.Troy Sports Center has 4. I think NewEnglandSportsCenter has 4 also.
