How tall r u and what size gloves

Recommended Posts

I don't like big bulky gloves. Bought a pair of reebok 7000 4 roll. I'm 5'8 and bought 13's. A little worried about protection but really liked the fit and feel over the 14's

Im 6'5" and wear 14"s or 15"s depending on the gloves.

If the gloves are shorter I wear a pair of terry towel slash guards. No issues so far.

Take a look at Malkin and his 13s. It's all preference, some little guys have huge hands and other big boys have little hands. I'm not sure a 1:1 relationship between vertical growth and hand size is relevant. Good starting point though, yeah probably.

I'm 5'11", 165lbs and wear 13's. My problem is that I have skinny hands (and wrists...and ankles...and feet) so I prefer the more narrow fitting glove types.

Do you get hit there a lot? There's at least that much separation between my gloves and elbows, but once again, it's all personal preference.

I haven't got hit there yet. But I've only been playing for three months or so. It seems like it's fine on the outside of my arm where the glove meets the pad. It looks like there was a good amount of space on the inside part between the two. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't too much of a gap on the inside part near my wrist

6'3" and I usually get 15s, but based on brand/model I've found those can very greatly in fit/feel. I have a pair of Bauer Vapor XXVs and a pair of Easton EQ30s - both are 15s but the Eastons go about a good inch and a half further up the arm and feel a lot looser over all. And I had an old pair of CCM 13s years back (can't remember specific model) that were looser than the lot of them and still covered as much of my arm as the Bauers.

I am 6'2", don't skate out much, like to rotate gloves every couple of years just to get on the gear wh** wagon.

Biggest problem for me is finding the gloves with longer fingers. Most 15" fingers are fine, but the gloves would feel too loose.

I really like the overseas Eagle Talon's nice and snug, long fingers and plenty long up the arm. I was in a pair of the Supreme One70 gloves before, also 15".

I'm about 5'9, and I wear 14 inch gloves. Depending on the brand they can end up being a bit big or small but 14's usually fits me.

sorry its out of the topic but, should my fingertip just barely touching the gusset? is it alright if my fingertips a bit pushing the gusset?
