Bauer APX footbeds

Wondering if anyone knows if (or where) I can buy these footbeds with the built in toe padding. I've got a pair of T1's that I love, but I'm starting to get a little callous on the side of my big toe from rubbing. I've tried a little gel pad but can't get them to stay in place. I think the APX footbeds would be just the ticket.

I buy most of my gear on line as I don't have a LHS in my town. Any help would be much appreciated.

I hate these footbeds. They came with my nexus 1000 skates and I promptly shoved my flexlite footbeds in. You can have mine if you're a size 7D.

Thanks for the reply, but I think I've got it taken care of. I am curious though, what you hate about them?

The miniscule amount of space that the flaps took up made the skates too tight in the toe box for me, my left foot is a 7.5 and my right is a 7 3/4 so i'm pretty tight on space as is. Other than that I don't think there's much of a difference between these footbeds and my flexlite or t1's that would make me hate them.

Yeah, I could see where if you wear your skates a little snug, that they would be an annoyance. Seems like the older I get, the more I like a little more room to wiggle my toes. Doesn't seem to affect my skating and definitely keeps the dogs from barking. These T1's seem to have a little wider toe cap than my 8090's, so I'm lovin life with them.

Living in the back waters, well ok Australia, we have trouble getting these sorts of things in. Where can I find and order these footbeds online? I don't necessarily need them shipped to Australia as I have a US forwarding service.

I suffer from the same callous on my big toes.

I figured, that you can just buy a neoprene sheet and glue it onto the toe box, I'll try to do that tonight and will let you know on friday how it went.

I saw this thread way too late, i have unused x60 and apx footbeds in size 7EE, shipped to you from singapore for next to nothing! I have no need for them as i use superfeet.

I actually like these Bauer footbeds with the flaps, they provide you with the ability to fine tune length by 1/8-1/4 of a size for those with irregular feet.

I wish Bauer would sell them as mine are getting worn out.

German shop selling them on ebay in multiple sizes, so I suppose Bauer is selling them through retailers.

Woo! I ordered a pair and requested total from seller. These are going to end up costing an arm and a leg but if they make my toe stop hurting it will be WELL worth it.

Shipper said 2-3 weeks to arrive. Can't wait.

I just received mine from Germany (size 8.5) and made the following pic (label under the label has the same text):

If you google the number "1040544" you will find an order-form excel sheet listing it as "VAPOR APX BULK FOOTBED" (linked here). This is an order form for HKCAD (Hong Kong Community Athletic Development), as they say they can order everything in there directly from Bauer.

Hope this information is helpful, maybe your LHS or local pro team EQM can order those for you with that number.

Thanks for the info. I was the OP and unfortunately, my original source fell through so I'm still looking for a pair. I've been using moleskin in the toe and it works ok, but I'd still like to give these a try.

i had the same issue in my T1's. I wear a donut sleeve around the big toe that has thin elastic jelly padding. Got them at shoppers drug mart. Works great.
