Custom Gloves

Hi, I am just wanting to know if any/or what hockey manufacturers produce custom gloves for the general public? I've heard that Eagle may make them, but what other companies do? Also does anyone know who to contact to get these made?

Eagle does custom gloves but the price is outrageous (easily 200+ USD) and they take an eternity to be made (6+ months is not rare).

TPS makes great custom gloves, the price is not absurd (depending on your LHS it is not much more than MSRP on retail gloves) and turnaround on my gloves was one month.

Sande makes custom gloves but they have had massive problems in the past (gloves took an eternity to be made, products had to be taken off the market).

It differs from company to company but usually you can change:

- outer materials (synthetic leather, nylon, ProGlo)

- custom colors (also: colors can be defined individually for any part of the glove)

- palm materials (different kinds of leather, nash, other thinner fabrics)

- gusset materials (same as palm or mesh)

- finger length

- plastic inserts or not

- name printed/embroidered on cuff

- cuff length (TPS at least)

- inner liner (TPS at least)

TPS turn around time seems to variate quite a lot.. it's been something like three months now and they still haven't turned up. They should be ready and on their way...

TPS makes a great set of customs for a good price. Their turnaround is good, I just had some snags on mine that held it up but the wait was well worth it.

not true, and not always true.

Custom colors are no additional charge, when you start mixing and matchign different materials, gaussets, insterts and options, naturaly, the price goes up. I have gotten eagles in under 3 months and in one case 7 months, matters how busy they are.

Well, you ordered gold binding and it was not in stock. Other than that, the most we've ever had to wait was two months, and that's because Mack's was a hybrid.

go with TPS!!! even though I only wear eagles... My hockey shop has told me pricing of both, and the availability of both.. and it is much easier to go with TPS, faster, cheaper... I hate to say it... but TPS for custom gloves... (I still love my eagles more than anything)

a lil marketing here on my part... but DR Sports makes custom gloves and pants. Usually not for individuals, but more teams. some minimums apply.

with tps, from what ive heard, with them trying to sell, they have cut staff. that could be creating a production time problem.

I've been selling the hell out of the DR 500 series gloves. The Canadian made models aren't worth 3x the price.

Anyone know if Bauer does custom mitts! I saw on their website the colors that they offer in the XXX. The ones I want are like Marty's on the website, Tampa Bay colors, which arent listed in the color schemes. So I maybe interested in having some made, if possible.
