mickz 107 Report post Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) I found the Re-Akt 100 to be very narrow. The original Re-Akt fit my head extremely well and it was very comfortable. My previous helmet before that was a CCM V10. It was snug but I didn't feel it pinching the sides until maybe an hour into an ice time. With the Re-Akt 100, it felt too narrow for my head from the start. All three helmets I mentioned were size mediums. Those of you who love your Re-Akt and are considering the 100, I'd highly advise you to try it on before making your purchase. adam14 182 Report post Posted May 22, 2014 JR before the site went down you mentioned they were introducing a new curve, any chance it's the E28/Yakupov/Kreps pattern?

pizzakid13 5 Report post Posted May 25, 2014 I was able to get a pair of one9 on clearance plus another 25% off that. So, that is cool. How important is the baking process? Is it really just to expedite break-in or is there more to it than that because although I did bake my one80s, they were perfect out of the box.How tricky is it to home bake the skates? mickey007a 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2014 (edited) Is there any outlook on the durability on the MX3 runner replacement mechanism on the TUUKs? Does the blade lock in place well? Is this more of a gimmick with more potential to break / not catch and blades falling off or does it seem well constructed to last through use? Also, how is the fit compared to the Total-Ones? Thanks for the info! Edited June 7, 2014 by mickey007a

Is this more of a gimmick with more potential to break / not catch and blades falling off or does it seem well constructed to last through use? Also, how is the fit compared to the Total-Ones? Thanks for the info! This is the same mechanism that's used on the APX2's, which have been on the market for over a year with no major issues. It will also be featured on the new Nexus skates, when they launch. If it wasn't well constructed and at least as durable as its predecessor, I highly doubt it would be considered a viable option for every single Bauer skate going forward.Same fit as the NXG's, though the new lacing system makes it wrap the foot better (closer), so it could feel like a smaller skate depth wise. t6lock 24 Report post Posted June 22, 2014 Tried to buy these today http://www.sportchek.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=34780816So according to the store stock, they are in my local store, but when I went, they said they have them but cannot sell them until the end of July. One of the employees said something like he thinks they got postponed because they didn't make enough supply for everyone. I'd order online but don't want to pay the $10 shipping. Anyways, anyone else able/unable to purchase anything from the new Bauer apparel line? Also, should I assume these are a 6 pack like what every other site says? Doesn't specify in this particular link.

AIREAYE 248 Report post Posted June 22, 2014 Ever since they released their new performance under apparel lines, they've never sold socks at retail in a 6 pack, always as a single pair. I think the stock problem is for them, my store has had no problems getting the socks in.
