Heatley day in fact. The collection of Heatley's is growing...If it is not too much trouble I was hoping you could post a few pictures of his pattern. icewalker_bg 126 Report post Posted February 25, 2013 ^ sick glovesThe sticks I am using now. All Sakic clones, 75 flex except the ST 65 flex, I got it after reading that grown men weighting 200+lbs sometimes use intermediate sticks and wanted to try this crazyness they talk about, so far not digging the shaft dimensions that Easton has but it need to try it on the ice. Burning Bear 76 Report post Posted February 26, 2013 (edited) Two set ups completed:That Lightning set up is simply awesome. I will never not like that color palette.I think I seriously need to ditch my current plain old boring black/white set up in favor of something like this. haasport 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 Hi,could you add a pic of that DIY comfort edge and a few lines how you did it?ThanksHey! I actually had Peaches Pro Repair do it...had him working on my gloves so sent the skates out as well. I think you should be able to take your skates to any shoe repair shop and ask them to layr a piece of leathr over the edge to "cap" the seam. In fact, I know you can...had a local guy sew my tongues in and he mentioned he could have done the "cap" as well. I can tell a diffeence with them when I work my edges...my ankles kinda slide along when before I could feel them dig in. Peaches only charged me $10. laserrobottime 149 Report post Posted March 4, 2013 Nothing terribly special, but I added tongues from an old pair of Graf 703s to my Flexlite 4.0 Pros. Use these for officiating, and man, I'm in love. Took less than 10 minutes with the speedy stitcher.

I was wondering if you could perhaps post a picture of the area where you made the stitches. That Speedy Stitcher is a great tool. ............ Looking forward to reading any feedback from you, Krev, especially since you were a Stealth user too iirc. Edited March 4, 2013 by AIREAYE
