i have 2 sticks devoted to Ice (vapor XX and Synergy Grip) 2 sticks for roller (VaporXX again, and a Sande which is not to good). also i have 1 cyclone for street hockey becuz i get free blades from my fathers friend who owns a proshop. you would be amazed at the good condition of blades people discard, totalling about 20 blades in assorted curves. also i have close to 60 sticks and shafts because 4 people in my family play. and my dad used to shoot 114.3mph (top speed measured by a gun, I SWEAR BY IT and SO DOES HE) and he breaks sticks all the time Still (he can hit em about 90 now)

Umm..... you know what shot won the last NHL skills competition was somewhere in the neighborhood of 102..... the record for fastest CLOCKED shot for a pro is around 106 (by Shawn Heins in 1999)....

So, I'm sorta guessing that either the gun needed calibration, you have your facts mixed up, or your father (aka, Clark Kent) had one helluva tail wind working for him......

;)

I've just completed my annual stick buying spree (usally 2 - 3 sticks if I can stop myself). Well, my bank account hopes it's complete. Here's mine:

Game sticks:

- 2x pro stock silver grip Synergies, Marcus Nilson pattern (like a 9 iron)

New:

- Inno 1100 pro stock fused, Maltby pattern, 260 flex (C$99 at hockeygeeks)

- Inno 1100 pro stock fused, Lang pattern, probably 220 flex (C$99 at hockeygeeks)

(Couldn't resist these for the price. The stick are weird though - just above the fuse point I can see about 2 inches of shaft that has the True 1 weave pattern)

- Pro stock Bauer XX, Marcus Nilson pattern (more of a 5 iron)

Others:

- Pro stock M-1 tapered shaft (95 flex) with Inno Kovalev retail blade

- Inno 1100 pro stock fused, Richard Park pattern

- Inno True 1 Kovalev retail pattern, 260 flex

- Inno True 1 Kovalev retail pattern, 300 flex

- Pro stock silver Synergy, Richards pattern

- Pro stock silver Synergy, Holglund pattern

- Inno 1100 standard shaft (300 flex) with Inno pro Hull blade

- Vector 110, regular flex, Karberle pattern

- Synergy shaft with Nike Quest 3 Kovalchuck retail blade

What's the Lang compared to other pro or retail patterns? All I got for a desciption was "heel" and that wasn't enough. Thank you.

As for my list, I'm going with Inno 180s with soft grip and pro Kovalchuk Bauers. Yes, I've gone to the banana.

nothing wrong with that!...here goes,

Kovalchuk pro stock 1100 fused

Kovalchuk pro stock vapor xx

Kovalchuk pro stock synergy

Vapor X shaft w/ ??? blade

TPS Genesis Shaft w/ ??? blade

TPS Tri-core Shaft w/ ??? blade

Hespeler Patriot w/ tapered Federov inno blade

Koho 2295 pro stock woodie

Easton Cyclone w/ ??? blade

and a box of 20+ blades i seem to like to rotate...

i had more...but they are now gone, and my marriage is much better for it! ;)

It's a slight mid-heel, just a tad of loft, long blade, rounded toe, some rocker and a lie of about 5.5. I'd say it's a retail Drury / Kovalev with a lot less loft and less curve. Stick is very stiff, especially since I cut 2 inches.
