He did wear the full visor a couple of times in the Qs.

whats this talk of crosby wearing a full shiled in the show? i thought that you werent allowed to go full thats why when ever someone gets a facial injury they make some mask up with the itech concepts, but then i saw thornton wear a cheese cutter last year

They aren't obligated to mask up with the concept because Steve Begin was wearing a full cage in last year playoffs after he hit the board hard.

and for the Elbow, that' not true at all and I'm 100% sure.

I'll have to disagree that all NHLers must wear Jofa elbow pads. Jofa advertises that 99% of NHLers wear at least one piece of Jofa gear. The other 1% doesn't.

The reason Crosby wore the mask is because he was getting high sticked and stuff so he wore it for a bit.

Also, will Sidney Crosby be forced to use the skates and sticks?

Crosby likes the XXs so I don't know whats going to happen there.

He won't be forced...he'll be paid.

At 17, for $500,000, Yeah I could see wearing whatever they give me. He'll learn to love the 8K.

The press release didn't mention the stick.

And the desktop image that they had up on their website seemed to have the logos on the stick airbrushed out.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was using SherWood sticks until that deal runs it's course.

Ummm, the only reason Sidney Crosby has worn full face protection at World Junior Tournaments is because it was required due to his age.

I'm guessing the only time you've ever seen Crosby play....hell, even pictures of Crosby is at the WJCs?? He wears the mandatory HX-50 half shield for Rimouski.

Yes. Full cage for those under 18 at the WJCS. Full cage for those under 16(I believe) in the CHL.

against NHLPA regulations to wear one unless it is needed due to injury. he was right, u can't waer a full

in the q im pritty sure you need to wear a neck gruad no matter what .. correct iof im wrong.

as for stick i heard he had to use sher wood for 2 more years or something like that.

are you sure? i used to work with pro linesman and my brothers old coach was a goal judge, they both told me the same thing.  All nhl players have to wear the jofa elbows because they were tested and showed not to cause concussions

They did a study about concussions and found that the hard-capped elbow pads were pretty much a weapon. Jofa was the only company to retrofit theirs to NHL spec. However, donut-style soft elbow pads and a select few others (eg. Bauer Vapor 6/8000) passed the test as well.

Everything he uses will be totally custom tailored to fit his needs, even if he has a foot type that simply doesn't fit well in the new 8k RBK skates, the pair he will be wearing will be custom and fit him like a glove.

They try to do that for all of their endorsers. What you don't realize is tha a lot of these guys really don't care. The endorsement money is nice - even if the product isn't.

Wasn't Bouwmeester under 18 a couple years ago and not have one?

They both wore the birdcages. Bouwmeester was in the NHL by the time he would've been allowed to. Spezza played once when he was 18, it goes by actual day as well (I think) and not by birth year.

It said in the article that I read that Crosby would not switch to Rbk sticks yet because he still had 2 years left on the 4 year deal with SherWood.

I don't believe the Jofa elbow pad thing. Warrior37 how would elbow pads casue concusions? As for reebok their players also include amonte,modano,pronger,bergeron,datsyuk,joseph,luongo and many more
