Need lightweight and protective shinguards...

I currently have Bauer 8000 shinguards, but I feel like they're a bit too heavy on my legs. I also bought them a bit long (they hang over the tongue too much for my liking) so that's another reason I need to get new shins.

Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Big as in fat? Do they not wrap around the calf? I don't have big legs so it shouldn't be a problem. I'm tall and lanky...lol.

I have very large calf muscles nd I have issues with the M1s being too narrow, the straps are long enough though.
