  1. There were at least two two-on-ones from the red line 'cause Chara was hilariously trying to line people up.
  2. It's been fun watching Chara make himself completely useless by trying to take runs at Sid all night.
  3. Drew, I'm very jealous of the Pac Man tickets. My own sweet thing, finger I broke on Sunday is still a bit sore and stiff but it's barely swollen and I can flick solid objects without pain so I'm going to go forward with my weekend/games as planned.
  4. Guess he wore them at some point.
  5. Broke my finger playing football this morning. Going to try and give it a go at hockey tonight.
  6. Got these from Cyclone Taylor, Sens pro stock, Cuff's a little high compared to my other EPros but they didn't give me problems with 9177s.
  7. The 6-7 shorter ones are for playing forward/stickhandling in the back yard in shoes. And the CLs, 8.0.8.s and 10ks are pro stock.
  8. I'm jealous, I've only been to spring training once but it was so cool, so relaxed, got a million autographs.
  9. Figure I'll update this with the stuff I've been using a lot lately/new stuff. Helmet - Nike 0004, Bauer 4500/Oakley pro aviator, M95 with NME padding/Torspo pro aviator, S9/Oakley pro aviator Gloves - Black/Silver/White Franchise gloves, Black/White cuff x72, Andy Greene XXXX Pro Elbows - Jofa 9177 Shins - Warrior Hustler Skates - Reebok white 9k/sprungs/hyper virtue Sticks - U+ Ovechkin, S17 sakic, One95 tapered with X:60 p92 pattern
  10. Any idea why he had two different cuff materials?
  11. Tactile. Shoot them an email, mine was pending for a bit so I emailed them, I had the sticks two days after the email.
  12. Nah, full price, that's a real good deal though.
  13. I put blades in them last night but all I really did was shoot around on a little synthetic ice. It seems to play to flex with an X:60 composite blade in it.
  14. Yeah, when I saw the Perron pattern I knew I wanted one. I know a few guys using retail 8.0.8.s and they've liked them so I figured I'd try them out. I'd love to run into his warriors.
  15. Yeah, it's got a pretty nice wedge on it. I have such a weird array of curves I like. That Wilson felt great the first time I used it but I also picked a couple Bill Thomas 9kOs 'cause the curve was really similar to the old letang titaniums I had.
  16. Fun with a tax return, x2 87 flex one95 tapered shafts x2 87 flex Kane-plated p92 pattern one95s from monkey x3 85 flex wilson CL pro stocks x3 85 flex Perron 8.0.8. pro stocks waiting on a few more goodies. I think I'll take a new super bored stick collection picture.
  17. I saw FedEx trucks all over yesterday, UPS decided to not deliver at all yesterday, even though all day their tracking site said my package was on time with a 2/26 delivery date. You also can't pick up from UPS on a Saturday.
  18. monkey has always been pretty good with me. It's usually order one day, if it's before 3pm or so I'll get the shipping email late in the next day. Then usually on the fourth or fifth day I'll get it in New Jersey. Now, to complaining. WILL THIS F'N SNOW STOP?!? I shoveled last night, watched the gold medal game and then went to bed. I woke up this morning and it's like I did absolutely nothing. It still won't stop coming down.

    CCM Vector U+

CCM Vector U+ Flex - 85 Finish - Grip Curve - Ovechkin Height - 6' Weight - 210 Position - Roller defenseman Used since September Initial Thoughts - Although a little "busy"(not nearly as much as other sticks) the stick is easy on the eyes. The use of the chrome U+ and CCM logos stand out but aren't obnoxious. Weight/Balance - Not the lightest stick on the market but the balance is pretty good, slightly blade heavy. When you're playing you don't notice the weight at all. - 8.5/10 Blade - Very solid feeling blade, doesn't feel plastic or anything when using. After a couple months of use the blade is still quite stiff. I also haven't had any problems with the heel insert that others have had. - 9.5/10 Shaft/Flex - This stick plays very true to it's 85 flex, which I like. The contoured shaft shape feels good in your hands without feeling too small. I'm a big fan of the grip on this stick, I like that there's resistance on your palms but it's not overly tacky feeling like say stick'um is. - 9/10 Stickhandling and passing - I use attack pads so my review of the feel might be a little swerved but I have decent feel while stickhandling with this stick. Very good feel when passing. It also receives passes really well. I feel like the heel insert is more than a gimmick, you definitely can catch passes around the heel without having to "peek" 'cause you'll feel it's there. - 9/10 Shooting - Probably not my favorite stick for slappers but by no means are they hurt by it, I just feel like other sticks get them off slightly better. Snap and wrist shots are great, on the other hand. Very responsive, lots of pop even after a decent amount of use. - 9/10 Durability - After months of use the stick still plays like an 85 flex. I took a decent slash about a month ago and the stick didn't flinch, it chipped the clearcoat but it's still great structurally. Stickers have chipped off her and there but it's not bad at all. I feel like this stick, with regular use, still has a lot of life left in it. 10/10 Overview - I'd definitely recommend this stick to pretty much anyone, any sort of playing style, it's a very well-rounded stick. At the 139 or so they're going for right now I see no reason not to pick up a few. - 9/10
  20. Although it's been snowing all day it's picture day for the Yankees in Florida. That alone makes it feel like it's almost spring time.
  21. I'm pretty sure the comments I made most often were, "well that could have been worse" and "I had the right idea" the most recent time I saw video of me playing.
  22. I love attack pads and the grips. Most places I know can't keep them in stock.
  23. I hadn't been keeping up with this thread. I went back a bunch of pages and saw the Perron 8.0.8.s, I ran right to HM and they seem to have some left. Though, they "had" the Gilroy CLs I ordered last week also.
  24. Seems like you might want to round that off a little more. Even with it made smooth that's a pretty decent edge that could end up messing your cheek up after a collision.
