    I've personally seen two different compatibility issues with the SpeedPlates, one on my 50K's and another on a friend's JetSpeeds. There's a little ripple/wrinkle thing that forms near the center of the SpeedPlate. My guess is the concave shape of the midsole in another brand's skates affects the SpeedPlate's ability to properly mold.

    I don't think it will be terrible once I get a lighter cage with flat bars. Still rough though. Got nothing but stares and puzzled looks today. Didn't your parents tell you it's rude to stare?!?!? ;-)

    Despite floundering around on the ice, I still managed to put up three assists and an even bigger + for the night.. I really need to get on the ice more.
