Hurt so bad trying to get into them since there is ZERO flex of the boot. Re baked them and it got better, but I had to use a heat gun and spot heat the 4th lace from the top and bend it out. Also, got two tongues and the shot blocker tongue I think is too thick for my liking. I also found out that I have a muscle bump on my right foot that was having issues getting into the skates - once heat spotted the area - getting in is not an issue. Comfort: The skate came correct size, my foot-bed is exact size as my old skates. I can just graze with my toe the toebox, but after i heel kick - no longer can touch it. I have zero foot movement and zero negative space. I felt really weird with the tongue being in the toebox at first. Moved it out and it felt empty - so now I am like 70% tongue in my toebox. Really like that feeling now as my toes have a bit of wiggle but still feel locked in place and tucked. Protection: I got shot blockers built in and can say that I have lost all fear about blocking shots. I mean 100% worth the shot blockers.(i used to wear plastic wraps) Performance: You do feel the tilt at first but I got used to it really fast and love the absolute solid boot. I do not think this is a "TRUE" thing but anytime you use a stiff boot you get that awesome performance. Biggest gains are from the stiff boot and zero negative space. Looks: I almost went with CCM jetspeeds customs just cuz of the looks - BUT true has now grown on me hardcore. I love the low key look. Overall: I hated the tongue in my toebox at first, but really liked that I can adjust it to the way I like it (did not even know I like having the tongue in my toeboex -sounds dirty but yeah). Had tons of pain getting into them after 1st bake - had to heat spot to fix it. Overall - love them. It is really awesome to get into the boot and just feel the comfy grip that the skate takes over your foot. Most comfortable skate I have had yet. Might get superfeet/bauer plates to avoid arch bending but has not been an issue for me. Note - I never had any comfort issues with any of the cheaper skates I have owned (Bauer/Easton). Only got True because I can afford it and needed new skates. We have about 7 guys in True on my team now over last 6 months.

Will this finally expose the fact that Little Timmy’s Kane curve isn’t actually a Kane curve? Or will people order a Kane expecting a P88 and get a Shananan delivered to their door? Much suspense! Also - the Pastrnak sticks I’ve had in the past have just been stock P28s. Having that, P28, P28M, and Kucherov’s Fisher Pro seems a bit excessive.

Very happy I got the added shot blockers to mine too. Took two hard shots the other night to the same foot. 1st one hit square on the outside of my foot and felt nothing. 2nd one hit square on the inside ankle bone (where the True logo is) and I felt it and it hurt, but was fine after the initial pain. Skates look fine too - no visible damage.

Pens played up and down a lot this season. Had a great last month and a half except the last week they lapsed into the downside. Isles are clogging it up but really exploit mistakes. So a combination of both, Pens have another gear or two but there is no guarantee they can get there.

Neither do underachieving teams.

Sher-Wood post Momentum RM days has been very good. The Rekker 365 is the lightest non special edition stick on the market and can be had at 50%. The BPM 150 is on sale if you can get passed the colors. STX you'll pay a bit more, but you're still getting a solid stick and have a trial period. I am currently using the RX3 and love it. Don't bother with those $129.99 we're as good as the big names' $299.99 sticks but don't pay nhl fees so our sticks aren't costly. It's a lie.

Same as Graz, had both, One100 never did it for me. One95 I believe was still Canadian made, so there may have been a difference in the last.

I reached inside and pushed the alignment wheel in closer to the centering guide. And yeah, one pass won't be enough. You could try the marker trick. Sharpie the hollow, do a pass and see if there is any marker left in the hollow.

Piggy backing on this one.... I was playing in a league where it was nothing but irritating. Me and a couple of buds started our own "league". It has been the best thing I have ever done for my hockey "career". We handpicked our group, so everyone is fun to skate with and there is literally zero garbage happening. We have good music blaring the entire game. I look forward to this skate every week way more than I do my normal league skate.

Wheels are labeda grippers with the decals wiped off with paint thinners, Chassis is 4x80 with a size 4.5 boot, Last ones i made were 3x80 on a 3.0 boot. Middle 2 wheels are 2mm rockered. Chassis is my own design/manufacture. Axles are a solid 8mm alloy through bolt with a m5 titanium torx screw retaining

wow what size wheels are those? perhaps the photo is misleading. is that your custom chassis? ive always dreamed of an 80-76-80-80 chassis that was lower than all setups and slightly shorter wheelbase. second wheel from front would be the 76.

Absolutely no wear at all. I create the knob using regular stick tape and just remove and re-apply the stretch tape once in a while. Zero wear on my gloves. To be clear, I'm talking about this: https://www.icewarehouse.com/Renfrew_Stretch_Grip_Hockey_Stick_Tape/descpage-RSRT.html
