Hi Krisdrum, PBH is correct, we are offering the FT4 in 50/90TM. If you don't see it on a retailers website, they just likely didn't book/order these specs. Keep an eye out at your local LHS, there are also plenty of members here on Modsquad who work in retail, and may be able to share what they have on order/coming in for launch. Thanks!

The P90TM is a dream of a curve pattern. I wish more players would be less hesitant to use it. I switched to it and can never see myself changing to anything else as it does everything I ask of it. Passing is great, shots are hard and accurate, stick handling is fantastic. Glad he is also finding his love for that pattern as well.

Hey Everyone! I organized all the reviews into a table with the links to each person's post. This way, you can easily see how they transitioned through each profile and read through the review chronologically. It was a little difficult to organize because people were usually getting back several runners in batches, but I tried my best. I wanted to share a direct link to the spreadsheet, but wasn't sure how to do that anonymously, so the data has just been pasted in several posts below. I have it sorted via the following ways: 1) Username, 2) Runner Size, and 3) Hollow. I wanted to somehow sort by hockey experience as well, but it was difficult to standardize everyone's experience. I just took snippets from the info they provided. Table Legend Highlighted in green are the final profiles the user decided on. In yellow are either their 2nd place picks, ties for 1st/2nd place, or the profile that they liked out of the ones they tried, but it didn't seem like they finished their profiling "journey". (Personally, I never finished mine because I kept getting injured on/off for the whole year, then I found I needed new skates, and then COVID happened.) My Observations It took people an average of +4 profiles from stock (so technically 5 total) to figure out which one they liked. Of the 7 users who distinctly stated their favorite profile, 6/7 picked a Quad. 2/7 picked a Triple (Hudson V). Of the ones users would have been happy with (yellow) if they hadn't tried out their favorite profile, most were tied on triples and quads. This leads me to believe that the majority of people would benefit from trying out a triple or quad profile, but in this region, the differences start to become smaller, so you get into diminishing returns. Honorable Mention: @gevorkya's journey was interesting to read because they ended up trying several different hollows on the same profile to land on their favorite. (Read their Quad 1 review for reference.) Hopefully this helps people out a bit if they want to try out profiling! Last I checked, most places didn't offer profiles, but it seems like even big retailers are starting to offer it. Edit//Link to Excel version of spreadsheet.

Take the footbed out and see if the length is right. Whether you can get your foot in the true skate prebake has no indication of how they will fit baked.

Ignore sizing and go by fit and feel. Thats the number one rule I stick to when fitting people for skates. I had a customer come in the other day and ask for a size 10EE CCM. I said "Great, take off your shoes and let's get you measured and see what we are working with!" In the end, he walked out in a size 8 tapered CCM. The same goes with TRUE, I have seen some players move from the same size in Bauer/CCM to TRUE while some others have gone up/down in size. YMMV.

When I first got my TF9’s i went down a half size from my Bauer size and I could barely squeeze my foot into them pre-bake. I was definitely worried they would be way too small. Baked them and they opened up and they fit absolutely perfect. With Trues, I think if the skate has room or fits like you’re used to pre-bake, it’s going to be too big for you post-bake

Correct! the swiss graf skates has allways had a superior quality compared to any other skate manufacturer. The only problem is, -the skates are made in swizerland and priced after that. among the pro level players in Europe, swiss made graf skates is still very popular, especially in Central Europe where Graf skates can be found in just about every sports store that sell hockey equipment.

You could also find a pair of gloves that check all your other boxes for fit , protection etc, and have a second layer added to the glove after the fact.

I was surprised by Leonsis' comments after Ovy's signing (https://www.nhl.com/news/capitals-alex-ovechkin-aims-to-break-wayne-gretzky-goal-record/c-325872062). He was saying it was kind of good for the team and whatnot. What the hell, Ovy's going to be the all-time goal scoring leader with one team. Gordie almost played with just one NHL team, but the others ahead of Ovy all split their time on several clubs. If I owned an NHL team and one of my players was the all-time leader in goals, and scored all of those goals for my team, I'd be pretty happy with, if not downright proud of that fact. That might not be as loud as a few more Stanley Cups but I'd think it certainly says something good about the organization. As long as he doesn't go crazy and try to play until he's 50 or something I'd do what I could to keep him the center of the team.
