This could be a big differentiator on the TF9 from the TF7. They are similar enough lay people have to dig a bit to find the differences.

When you say fall over, I'm assuming you mean fall backwards as opposed to falling over your toes? If the 0.5 forward pitch helped a little but not enough, and you have the same pro-sharp profile as your previous skates, I'm assuming a lot more pitch, like an extra 2.0 forward pitch, would work.

Ironic since I’m going in the opposite direction from CCM to True lol Re the pitch - check this thread: CCM is neutral, shift is +2 so I don’t think 1mm lift would do it, it’s at least 2mm if not 3

Durability of those skates sucks, you can already see the boot is getting mangled. Carbonlite runner are terrible. IMO, you should always have 2 pairs of steel in case your steel fails or you lose an edge. Regardless, I would take Flare steel over weight savings any day. Bauer doesn't really try anything new. That tongue design started with TRUE first. The eyelet cut outs were done 20 years ago. They should have used standard eyelets too, injected eyelets are a nightmare and fail too often. That weird outsole system is terrible. Our store is already seeing players bringing skates in where the rivets are pulling through the outsole.

You could either add a heel lift or adjust the pitch, its your choice. You will need to def either add more pitch or use a heel lift in order to get a similar feel. the amount of pitch you added just isn't enough for a boot that is basically made neutral out of the box as opposed to TRUE.

I don't know about the other differences. But Bauer EE and Fit 3 size skate boots are a half size longer than D or Fit 1+2. You can see this in the sizing charts for the runners and for the Bauer speedplate insoles.

Hopefully the new True skate incorporates something like Bauer's Comfort Edge. That is, literally, the only thing I do not like about my True skates.

That's definitely Not the experience I had personally. Length/width wise the fit is similar. However volume wise and the overall cut wise different lines fit and feel quite differently on my feet. To a point that in 100K my ankle bone was almost pressing @ the eyelets, and I was failing the pencil test badly around 4-5th eyelets, but in FT4 pro it was noticeably better.

Just came across this Excellent post that dispels all "urban legends" re holder pitch: it confirms that the pitch of Edge hasn’t changed from LS2 (both towers were increased in height by 3mm) that True holder is the most forward pitched, followed by Edge then XS (which is known to be neutral). the only surprise for me was that Cobras which in the past were always regarded as mega forward pitched, were in fact the least aggressive of the modern holders…
