I wonder if the D vs EE that he talked about was solved because of how the skates mold so much. My MLX's fit me great and I normally wear a Supreme skate because the Vapors were too narrow in the forefoot.

That tongue is the only thing I don't like on those skates. Otherwise, they're awesome looking!

2013 Easton Hockey Catalogue
steelnation248 replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2013 Product Catalogue Reviews
I wouldn't say they are very similar at all personally. E28 is a much lower lie and is more similar to the Sakic/Hall style of curve than the Shanny. -

No one can determine how long a pair will last for a certain person for skates that are already on the market, let alone one that hasn't been released yet. -
2013 Easton Hockey Catalogue

It definitely is way more closed compared to that style of curve. I knew the flex would play a big part in the height of the shot. I hope the E28 is the same as the pattern I use because I love it, it's just too stiff for my liking. -

I wish the Kreps was a 5.5 lie but we will have to see how big the rocker is in real life. Althoma, I have a Kreps style pro pattern (so it could be different than what comes to retail) and even though it appears to me more open than the Sakic/Hall, I find it easier to keep my shots lower. I think the extra bit more at the toe helps with my shooting technique. It could be the flex though as well though (100 vs my usual 75.) -

Definitely excited to see the new products that Easton is putting out. Can't wait to try them on in stores! -
Pretty excited I was able to get these Edit: Didn't realize the original picture was so big! Sorry about that

Ann Arbor, MI. I got some XL pants and even though I should technically be close to the size range of an XL, they seem a bit loose on me. However, this could be because I like my pants really snug. My last couple pairs of pants have been 34" even thought I'm in between 36" and 38"

Sticks were $75 new, $25 used. Pants were $40 new, $20 used. Shoulders were $25 new. Socks were $1. Helmets, elbows, shins were all ~$25. That's all I can remember off the top of my head. They are just retail P92 and Sakic curves

My small haul from the USA Hockey sale today.
-
Was this the one that was just on ebay last week?
-
Was this on the Metro Detroit craigslist?
-
A guy had them for sale on craigslist so that was the only pair. They were $35!

^ that's a nice stick! Nothing crazy for me but I finally picked some of these up that are brand new, my size, and it didn't break the bank at all.
-
Never mind. Repeated information.
-
Hey 5MM, I envy your bank account. Haha

So my new team had its first game tonight, and we got absolutely crusheddd. It was to be expected because most have never played organized hockey. However, it was all a bunch of friends, and we had a hell of a good time during and after the game. Can't beat chilling with the boys.

Thanks. I've been looking for a stick that had a similar curve to the retail Sakic/Draper but just has a little more toe curve added, plus in a lower flex. This one looks nice off the ice, I'm excited to see how it plays.

Just got this in the mail today.

I've been hunting for some of his sticks for awhile now. Mine is definitely closer to the retail Gionta than the other one Ruffage posted. I liked the Gionta a lot when I had it, I just hated how low the lie was. These seem like they will be a dream stick for me. Higher lie, huge rocker, slight open toe curve. I'm very excited that I found them, and especially for the price they were.
