Yeah, they'll have you glue it back into place. This is extremely common. Using a shoehorn to put the skates on completely eliminates the possibility of doing that to the skate, though. -
Yes. Step steel is neutral, so it's effectively reducing the overall pitch to +2.

Sick bucket. -
Aren't most people reporting a wider and deeper fit than the APX2?
-
I'm very interested in these -- anybody got a 10.5-11.5 pair they want to sell?

It looks as if the side of the new toe cap has leather covering it in that video -

Having seen the new toe cap without the leather covering, I'm now a fan -

Looks like the cap is plastic and wraps onto the side to cut down on abrasions to the boot. -

Saw that toe cap on the Marsblade twitter page. Now that's what I call sick wheels! https://twitter.com/Marsblade https://twitter.com/hashtag/oneskateratatime?src=hash http://t.co/Mo9IO5XYqb — VH Footwear (@VHFootwear) -
I love the Elite Bamboo sock. Ultra thin and tacky (in a good way!) when wet.

I have step steel for my CXN holders and they are completely different from the stock CXN runners.

Interesting. Looks like they could be a really easy DIY as well.

I don't need gloves, but I'd buy those in a heartbeat.

Holy god.

The third-tier Jetspeed has a "pro moose suede" liner. Color me interested. -

This topic is getting embarrassing. If you're not willing to pay for the skates, don't buy them. If you are, buy them! In either case, your opinions are your own and can stay that way. Stop attempting to crucify the owners of a small, hand-made skate company because you disagree with their pricing structure. -

Why don't we pull this thread back on track? I'm back in my VH skates full time now, just got the felt tongues and will re-bake next weekend. -
Yup. Narrow skates commonly size down on toe cap.
-
No commercial link between Kor and MLX, just similar concepts.
-
T7 is +7, meaning it's a 7 1/4D skate with a size 7 toe cap.

This skate, and this forum in general, is attractive to "tinkerers" who have extraordinarily high standards for their equipment, which is why 1) these skates are so popular here and 2) why these skates get returned to Scott so frequently by forum members. -

Yeah, that's about the idea. Love your drawing skills -- more people should be skilled in drafting. -

No. Scott doesn't do that in house. I'm sure he can get it done but you're probably better off with a local job.
