  1. Yes, that's correct. The rest is usually Bauer customs, which we don't sell currently. Could also be Graf. For those options I refer customers up north to Vancouver Canada. Since I don't sell them I have no way of knowing if the customer completes the transaction so I just consider those sales as "other".
  2. The grey clarino doesn't soak up as much moisture and is noticeably thicker than the tan liner. This is why when you see most of TRUE skates being used by professionals they almost always have the tan liners. It provides much better grip locking the foot into place. I usually don't recommend the fabric liner. While it does promote good foot lock and does a great job wicking away moisture, the skates become very heavy and take a long time to dry out fully. It's also not as durable.
  3. Just a pair that I assembled today for another satisfied customer
  4. For people that sweat a lot and want a really snug fit it's always best to go with the tan clarino option that they have.
  5. If I may ask, where did you go? My stores are located on the west coast and we do a ton of skates. I hope it wasn't Pure Hockey.....
  6. I have the DX, previously has the QX. Great shin. Very protective and ought weight. They are a very tapered fit though so it you have tree trunk legs they might not fit well.
  7. For us, 40% TRUE, and 35% CCM. We don't do Bauer custom. Not sure about other stores in the area as they can only do Bauer and CCM, not TRUE Would love to know the metrics other stores are seeing.
  8. I've seen the opposite at our stores, I own three. All players who went with CCM and Bauer custom skates later swapped to TRUE. Different strokes, for different folks, right?
  9. This is the way ALL store that sell TRUE skates are supposed to be baking skates. Did they not do this when you bought them?
  10. I have never had any adult in a senior skate use anything longer than an 11' radius die to the amount of power and length needed for each stride. Skating on anything over a 13' will feel like you are using a bobsled. 13' will feel like a snowboard. 11' will give you stability and more top end speed but still feel like skis. If that makes sense.
  11. You can remove the profile and flatten the entire blade if you aren't sure about previous pitch added or want to "reset" the profile.
  12. I actually like the 11' single radius profile and our store does quite a bit of them for players who prefer a single radius and dont want a combination radius. However with that being said, if you are open to a combination radius you might like a 10/20' or the Zuperior or Quad 2 profile. Here are some example profiles:
  13. It does. ProSharp builds pitch into the template.
  14. I imagine since he is using a 2S Pro skate the steel must be fairly new. This is just an assumption though.
  15. TRUE designs skates for your heel to sit much farther back in the boot. When you are in a hockey stance it locks in. If you try to stand upright it will sit a little outside of the heel cup.
  16. Some players will have lifts installed. They sit between the skate runner holder and the boot to add more height. Here is a pic example:
  17. The FT490 says its a composite midsole too, but I know it's not. https://ccmhockey.com/en/product/player/skates/jetspeed-ft490-skates
  18. I had a couple of players come into the store today that play NCAA D1 college and I noticed a couple of them had small holes drilled into the toe caps of their skates. When I asked why they said it was to allow better venting so the skates didn't get as hot and dry faster. Seems logical to me. Wondering if anyone else has ever seen this before? I was gonna snag a photo but didn't get a chance.
  19. I was reading that the FT2 and FT490 both have a nylon midsole? I thought the FT2 had a composite midsole and the FT490 had a nylon midsole? The FT1 was a composite midsole so I am confused why the FT2 would be nylon?
  20. Yeah, they sell it directly but shops also sell it now as well. We have a bunch of it.
