    I used to think the exact same thing. after switching to lighter skates I couldn't believe the difference in footspeed, but more importantly leg fatigue throughout the game. should also mention that my new skates are much stiffer though which also helps

    yeah superfeet have that hard plastic arch. it softens up after a few skates, but i'd go with an insole with a lower instep or softer arch for sure.

    my LaFontaine Rangers jersey is my favorite to wear to MSG and always a huge hit walking the halls. got it for $50 back in the day at a Marshalls-type store called Value City. my brother aso got a Bourque and Samsonov home white Bruins jerseys there back then for i think $80 each. place was the best

    yeah being an original 6, i don't see them ever changing the home and aways. also a huge fan of the heritage jersey. of course i bought a Dubinsky and he later got traded so i can't wear it

    WC jerseys are about keeping it simple and traditional yet beautiful. not going off the deep end trying to reinvent the wheel. sabres knocked this one out of the park. hopefully the Rangers jerseys are that nice. i absolutely hated the 2012 Rangers WC jerseys. such an ugly logo. all they had to do was do the Heritage 3rd jersey in that offwhite/cream color and they fucked it up

    yeah he also didn't wear a mask cause guys were shooting with heavy flat blade sticks and could barely lift the puck past knee height

    problem with that is now they're molded to your feet, but not to the inside of the footbed so there's gaps between the insole and footbed

    it's not really a rebuild, but more of a retool like they did last summer

    identical caphit, but Saad is locked in for another 4 years and Panarin hits UFA in a year or 2 so this is longterm cap savings for the Hawks

    just scored a pair of lightly used Alex Steen VH skates off side line swap. they're my size and width so hopefully his feet aren't drastically differently shaped than mine and they mold to my feet okay. i'm sure i can punch and manipulate if need be. couldn't beat the price

    this is how the one league i play in has become. these kids come home from college and jump on and the league doesn't give a shit at all. and its not like these kids are taking it easy. they could be up 8-0 and they'll still be skating like its game 7 of the cup finals and celebrating every goal like they've never scored before
