I know sports seems so trivial compared to everything else that happens in the "real world" but I think the way sport pays tribute to their fallen is pretty damn amazing. I don't really cry at sad movies, but I've found myself tearing up at the way sports pays tribute to people.

The fingers are fine length wise...but they feel very snug across the top of the hand...I think 15's would have been way to sloppy though. Some other people like slashing that gap *L*

New mitts: :) I know I've said I am not a fan of the new space-aged design, and that I like the Traditional...but these are nice. Not AS spacey as the One90's...IMHO!

Update: CCM Vector 8.0 Gloves. I went with the 14" even though they feel snug across the back of my hand....the finger length is perfect (although some have said new Vectors are smallish in that area)

That looks like it offers a fair amount of protection to the nose as well as the eyes.

Can't say that I have. I've sat on the coach wearing new skate watching TV...but never slept in it. :o i hope you didnt get benched *L* couch. *L*

It fills the pocket around your ankle and locks it in pretty good. No problems with durability, skating roughly 2 times a week since I got them in the Spring. I'm really happy with them. Very stiff skate (at least for me...I'm hardly a "power" guy), but almost everyone I play with has said my skating has imporved drastically since I'm skating in these, which probably has more to do with the fact that these actually fit me.

Update: Stick: RBK 7k Pro-Lite (RK10 Reg Flex). The curve is almost identical to my Sickick (Grabovski of the Hamilton Bulldogs) that I like so much.

rhino...I don't know if it the different material that liner is made out of...but the sweat in my eyes is crazy with the Vector...(my ONLY complaint about it). That sweat strip is a good idea.

I agree....I tend to have great games when I am playing with new gear. And...I think that the "feeling good" will have a lot to do with playing good. If style leads to feeling good...I'm all for that. Can't do the shave before a skate though....sweats stings and burns too much on a fresh "cut" *L*
