We were up 4-1 in Game 1...tied 4-4 We got Shutout 1-0 in Game 2 We were up 3-1 in Game 3...tied 3-3 Ugh. We just can't hold a lead. On the plus side...the goals against aren't coming when my line is out! And, I'm doing my part offensively. 3G's so far.

And these gloves:

Lost the hockey game 1-0. Had the tying goal on my stick for a penalty shot and he squeezed his arm to his body. Testing went well (other than Math). We'll have to wait and see what happens next. Lost our ball game 13-10 Off to the rink for game 2!

Not so much a vent, as all of these things are by choice...but here is how my weekend is laid out: Tonight: League Hockey at 10:30p...likely not leaving the rink until well after midnight. Tomorrow: I have to be in Oakville (roughly 20 minute drive from here) at 6:30am for 6 hours of testing to see if I am eligible for a job at the Ford Assembly plant. That should take me to about 1:00p...then rush home for a baseball game at 2:30p Pick up hockey at 7:00p Monday: Can't even recover/sleep in Monday...as I have to be at a Networking Group to further aid my job search at 9:30a. Monday afternoon and likely most of Tuesday will not be productive.

Started in a new league last night. Scored 2 goals...so at least for this week I can say I lead the league in scoring. A definite first for me!

I am currently looking as well, and this may be the fishiest phish I've gotten so far:

Getting harder and harder to find Gionta's around here. Although I like an 85.

Cold Call Selling. Wow!!!! I knew making $80,000 wasn't going to be easy...but I also didn't realize I'd scratch and claw this hard to make half of what I used to make in radio.

With everything that is going on in the world of International aviation right now, tell me this wouldn't have been a little unnerving! http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/25-year-old-passenger-arrested-after-sunwing-flight-escorted-back-to-toronto-1.1931597

IMO, Best number for pickup is 10! For a league I like 3 forward lines and 2 pairs of D

Not to start a huge debate...but I don't think it's fair to just flat out say "a C student shouldn't get a licence". But, I will say that I do like that your 'rents are instilling a sense of responsibility in you. A drivers licence is not a right...it's a privilege. If you aren't driving at 16...it's not the end of the world. I was almost 18 when I got mine. You'll look back and thank your parents that they made you wait.

I used to joke with people, that you can do really bad stuff and not get a 15 year sentence. Maybe this was my get out of jail card. Hopefully on to bigger and better things, just don't know what they are now.

The fact that I made it through 15 years and 5 ownership changes is kind of amazing. Now I get to be one in the long line that says "they treated me really well" and even let me say some goodbyes before I left on my own. And hell, I can drink all the wine I want tonight, sleep in and get paid NOT to go to work tomorrow.

I've watched the radio axe swing many times in my 15 years. Today...it hit me!!! (I'm keeping the username though...it's in my settlement. haha!)

I don't recall in my (almost) 38 years it being cold like this in Southern Ontario! Actual temperature of -19 (celsius) with a wind chill expected to hit -38 overnight.
