Lots of details still need to be worked out. https://nypost.com/2020/06/11/the-nhls-remaining-hurdles-for-restart-after-phase-3-agreement/

I will agree with this. I only bought gear from the LA Kings sales in the early 2000's the prices were less than retail and there was always a lot to go around. Now the sales are online auction style w prices for "collectors". A similar thing happened to the jersey hobby, it has changed dramatically too, when prices were much less than a car payment.

No talk about masks in NHL or NBA as far as I've read.

Schuttsports has debuted a shield for football. It looks like it's too flimsy to be used in hockey. I'm looking forward to seeing what Bauer and other hockey co's come up with. https://www.schuttsports.com/splash-shield.html

I've read here from many that the ModSquad Pro Shop does a great job converting skates. -
The message from Dark Star is about shields and Covid. Placebo or not, DS is getting word that people of snapping them up thinking they will be better protection than a cage.

If the stands are going to be empty I'd rather see the games played in Major Junior and D1 Rinks. The camera angles and acoustics of a smaller place would sound better on tv.

https://nypost.com/2020/05/26/nhls-24-team-playoff-awaiting-dates-hub-cities/ Lots to talk about. >>>The seven teams that are not part of the return-to-play format can begin focusing on the NHL draft. The complicated lottery process will include those seven teams, plus the eight teams who lose in the qualifying round.<<< Sure everything is topsy turvy, but it shouldn't favor a better team that loses in this experimental playoff. >>>The top four teams in each conference, meanwhile, would play a round-robin format to determine their seeds.<<< What is this beer league?

Valencia Ice Station in North Los Angeles County to close for good. https://www.icestation.net/news/public-closure-faqs I could guess the shutdowns just fast tracked the closure, but I do hope the LA Kings take a look to see if they can save it. -
Didn't metal tips get banned years ago? (risk of puncture wounds)

Yes you can help. Whether is on the bench, in street shoes on the ice or even in the locker room Approach the coaches to find out how you can hlp. You will grasp much more of the lessons than the kids and you can help them understand.
