  1. That has happened to me with 7 or 8 guys on a side.
  2. But the leagues and season costs are generally significantly cheaper. If you're working with the same budget, inline allows you to blow more on gear.
  3. They just got the new machine in Harrisburg a month or two ago, so it is a fairly recent list. I will probably be in Pittsburgh the weekend before thanksgiving if anyone out there wants to try it. I only have a couple spinners at the moment though. Are you going to a local shop in the burgh or how would this work? If I were to do it, I would have to find somewhere to set up. I don't have any shop contacts out there.
  4. Socks are here, the jerseys can't be far behind.
  5. haha, thanks it was either between a husky or nova scotia duck tolling retriever (search it up! :P ) but there was a 6month old husky (looks like mine with a cuter puppy face but w/ blue eyes) at the local humane society but she had a genetic defect that makes her back knee's unable to lock up, surgery would have cost $2000+ without the rehab money, we just couldn't afford it, so kinda guilty conscience we went and bought a husky It is costing us probably in the ballpark of $2500 for the whole thing. The initial tumor removal and biopsy, the tests and xrays, and the eventual surgery and examination of the removed tissue and bone. They will be removing a large part of her lower left jaw. That doesnt include radiation if they dont get all the cancer. We arent doing all that well financially the moment (we will be in a very good position starting in about a year)....but $2500 is peanuts when it comes to saving the life of my Stella. I would lay out 10 grand in a heartbeat. .......but why do I fight my gearwhore desires and deny myself more than one of each piece of equipment? The bills for our aussie were about $10k and I would throw in another $10k just to have her a little while longer.
  6. Best of luck with the surgery man, we did everything we could to save our dog and it kicked me in the guts when it didn't work out. I miss my Aussie, she was a great dog.
  7. Yes and it isn't difficult as long as you honestly care about putting a good edge on the skates and have some level of manual dexterity.

  9. Why would anyone be excited about a guy that can't stay healthy more than a few games at a time and will tie up almost every penny just freed up from sending Nylander to Russia?
  10. two shops in PA. http://www.blackstonesport.com/fbv_where.cfm#Pennsylvania Those are my old shop and the new shop right around the corner from my house.
  11. If you're a caps fan, you should be hoping for a defenseman.
  12. Bob McKenzie was reporting the same thing on NHL Network
  13. Just use the same wheel, you aren't losing that much material when dressing the wheel and unless you're doing a high volume of skates, the wheel is going to last a long time.
  14. What you are describing is the type of play that is typical of Simon after returning from injury/surgery, he seems to take longer than most to re-acclimate himself to the game, and will play a very timid style. He has been pressured by the team to return a couple times in the past.
  15. Gagne needs someone to get him the puck in a decent scoring position, but can finish once he has the puck. He isn't an Ovechkin or Lemieux that can seemingly score at will, but he has never really had a great playmaking center in Philly to work with. And please, don't get me started on Hitchcock and his coaching style. I think Forsberg was obviously one of the best he had. Not hard to question that one, and it's a shame he was hurt so often How many games were both of them in the lineup at the same time?

  17. I went to a Bears game a couple weeks ago and wouldn't put too much hope into those young d-men for this season. Obviously one game isn't a good indicator of overall performance, but they certainly didn't stand out at the AHL level.
  18. Did my first night dive the other night and saw some really cool stuff. One lobster was taller than our cats and probably could have fed at least six of us.
  19. Happy to hear that. Hopefully you don't have much more recovery to go. First actual day of work is the 10th, I should be 100% by then. Now that I'm back on the active list again, I can leave for vacation on Saturday.
  20. I think you have to start Halak against the Pens. If he loses, no big deal and you start Price the next game. If you put Price in and he gets shelled, your bad situation just got worse.
  21. lmfao Orr tried to make the linesman give him a little more time in the fight and bowled him right over, then gets taken down by Parros. That should have been a ten game suspension for Orr I didn't even think was up for debate....touching a ref is an auto... (oh, wait...it's the Leafs) <_< /realize I'm a Habs fan open to TONS of ribbing for that...but what the hell! The rules don't matter anymore as long as Campbell doesn't think the guy meant to do it.
