Is someone^ still sour over last nights game? Seriously they've played what 15 games now? Lots of new players, new coach and lots of injuries, what exactly did you expect? They are doing OK, remember last season when they couldn't even win a game without Markov in the line-up?
-
Man, everything is so shinny and new, do you even use that stuff?
-
Thats a beautiful curve. Whats the lie and profile like on the Hlavac?

I just recieved my second batch of custom blades. I used a pro Kovalev blade as a base pattern and adapted it a little. It's a really long blade with a big rocker and a 5.5-5.75 lie. So far I like them a lot, better than my first lot of Statsny pro's.

I know what you mean, but the couple I have are definitly a toe, not like the mids I've seen before . It looks very similar to the Palushaj, Longer blade, closed but opens up very slighty towards the toe, with a smallish toe curve. From what I remember the other pro Karyia was more like a Recchi retail curve.
-
Looks like a nice little mid-toe, neutral face. I like it. Is it a OPS? If you hate it and the flex is right, dibs. :) That Palushaj curve looks exactly like the couple a pro stock Easton Karyia blades I have. PM me TBLfan if you're interested?

Correct me if I am wrong here, but Canadian Tackla's were made by Vaughn, Vaughn purchased Eagle and now makes Eagle pants. Does this mean the end for Tackla pants? Are the new Eagle pants similar to the previous Tackla models?

The blade is so long, there is more blade on the ice than you think there would be.

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion

You can use a nail punch for the regular rivets pretty easily, but for the coppers you'll need a sharp pair of wire cutters.- 2853 replies

TBL-How do you find the palms on those MIA's? I found them super grippy to start with but they seem to be coming around now.

I know this is getting a little off topic here, but has anyone tried cutting an Oggie with an exacta knife? If you could cut the rubber shapes and big square (where it joins the shaft) it should feel more like a standard shaft/but end.

Man those are sick Monty! Let me know if you ever want to move those puppies?

The NHL network had a little "future stars" thing on David tonight, cool to see.

Stealth went in a trade and the Dolomite is not for sale right now. Man you should have checked out the sale thread? Love the Tolzer Lowen jersey Mal, I seriously regret giving mine away to our goalie when I got back from Germany. Can you buy these online yet? I am not sure, I traded a kid for it in Germany in Bad Tolz. I also got a Ice tigers, Sweedish and Japan one.

The gloves or Shouldies?

I find the shoulder pads are amazing. I have been playing inline hockey for a while and find most shoulder pads big, bulky and restricting. I find the Farrell fit big but feel like nothing out there. I had to adjust the straps a little by adding more velcro (to fit tighter) and curve the plastic caps more (as they stuck out to much) but after that, they were gravy!

Heres my gear The Pro stock 1500 skates, 5 roll easton gloves, TPS R2XN10 are all for sale (in the sale thread or PM me)

Wow that sounds very different from what others were saying. So the skate is more like a Easton sbx than a stiffer, lighter graf skate? ALso I think I remember someone saying they were inpressed with the liner, haha difference of opinions?

I found the Shanny curve really easy for toe drags. I guess it was the longer blade and a deeper curve. I am using a modano now and I find way more difficult with the flater curve. Maybe its all in my head??
