  1. No, I've been meaning to do one (not an official LTR) but I haven't got around to it yet. I'll try get something up this weekend if I can get a chance.
  2. Step is a 13' profile, from what I understand.
  3. Step has 3 new products they’re introducing for the 2012, Titanium (gold color) and Carbon (black) coated steel as well as their long a waited Ti-SS (fusion style) blades. They have been working on these products for a while now, and are trying to make sure that there no production issues with them and that they will be of the same high standards as their current offerings. I have been lucky enough to be able to test both the Titanium coated steel and the Ti-SS which I just received yesterday. The Titanium nitride is applied with the same process as the black colour DLC (diamond like carbon) coating. Titanium nitride is an extremely hard ceramic base material, with a low coefficient of friction and because of these characteristics it is the preferred coating for metal cutting tools. I been skating the Titanium coated blades since the end of May and I found them to have similar characteristics to their Blackedge counterparts, but even better bite and less drag, which IMO is really saying something. I’m hoping to get a proper review for the coated steel on MSH in the next week or so.
  4. Good to see it arrived safe and sound. Hope you enjoy it!
  5. Around $150 Canadian is what he mentioned, pretty steep if true
  6. Yeah, I've heard it before too. I spoke to them last week and they seemed pretty sure.....
  7. According to Step, there Ti-SS (Fusion) is going to be out this Fall.
  8. Nice job Ruff. Whats the puck feel like?
  9. Any chance of getting a side profile picture Fatphilly?
  10. I have superfeet in mine and they definitely helped the depth issue I had in my MLX's. The stock innersoles are really thick I found...
  11. I've been using this product a month or so now. I do notice a difference in guide when using the product, kinda like trying FBV for the first time. It's not mind blowing or anything but I do feel the product gives you a slight advantage. Shame about their attitude though.
  12. Pro Kovy curve? I have a Kreps One95 which is a Kovalchuk clone, but he's also used Ovechkin clones too.
  13. That looks like a slightly deeper Kariya pro. Is it a fairly long blade?
  14. I decided to bite the bullet and give this stuff a try. So far its been great, definitely noticeable difference in glide IMO.
  15. Krev that must be your Holy Grail?
  16. I have no idea if this actually works, but wouldn't reducing "friction by maintaining a permanent liquid layer between the skate blade and ice surface" be the same thing Thermablades tried to achieve?
  17. Has anyone tried SK-8T fuel? It definitely sounds interesting?
  18. tweaked a little more. Lower lie, slightly longer and a little more rocker at the toe.
  19. The curve is something I cooked up through a lot of trial and error plus combining features I like from other curves. Finally I'm really happy with the result!
  20. My latest pick-ups. A new batch of custom blades and Eagle shoulders.
  21. Are those the narrow version? I've got a pair of Habs Creepers, but I love the narrow Franchises.
  22. Glad to see you got them and they went to a good home!
  23. Those Kostitsyn Creepers are amazing! What team were they intended for, do you know?
  24. even if the buttons don't match, just use the waist belt and you won't even notice a differnce.
