Not sure as that's the only pair of them I've ever had. Fit is fairly snug and I like the overall fit/feel. They do have the MIA tag inside of them.

Our hometown b-ball team knocked off Kansas. Not a shock, but rather maybe only a surprise for those of us who watch them play every week.

Last night; 9 weeks post-surgery to put the plate/screws on my left fibula at the ankle. Took the soon-to-be 11 yr old daughter along. First time on the ice for me in a while, lol. Felt good but only skated for maybe 30 minutes. Will be easing back into it. Walked on it at 5 weeks with no crutches also, so I'm about 2 or 3 weeks ahead of where I felt I'd be at thus far. I do have a smile thinking about it, finally.

Tomorrow will be 9 weeks since surgery to repair my broken left fibula. Tonight I was on the ice, hell yeah! Took our 10 yr old daughter to a gathering at the rink and skated for about 30 minutes. Didn't do any serious crossovers or backwards transitions, but WOW it felt good after this long to get back out there. Definitely there is light at the end of the tunnel... and it's not a train! :)

Custom Skates / Ice to Inline Conversion
Too Old replied to cougarscaptain87's topic in Roller Hockey Equipment
Got these via EBondo (think they came from Fatwabbit first?) and swapped out for these wheels/laces. Boots are Sergei Fedorov's and have his #91 on the outside of each heel, and also name on the back. Will be on inlines for the first time ever, lol. Using these to help me as I rehab from a broken left fibula.- 2845 replies

Got these from EBondo so first a big thanks. I believe they came from Fatwabbit first? Not going to post but just this one pic here with this being the ice section; others in the inline/roller forum to follow later. But.... the boots are Sergei Fedorov\'s. Has his #91 outside on the heel area and also his name is on the outside of the back of the heel/tendon guard. Plus it\'s stamped inside each boot. These will be my outdoor \"summer rehab\" skates as I work back from the broken left fibula.

Ditto!

lol

Really? I thought yours didn't have the grey? Oh well, lol. That price isn't bad for customs.
-
Lol, now I have a pair to use with my Wings and TBL gear. And the blackouts to go with whatever. I'd looked at a similar pair a member on here had for sale but they didn't have the grey color in them. I think I need to stop with the gloves, lol. I think that makes it 10 pair of gloves now for the collection. But I know there are others who are sicker than me. ;)
-
The glove whore in me resurfaced, lol. Was watching these and nobody bid on them. I had entered a snipe of $128.00 max. They'll match my TBL gear nicely. ;) :)

Been looking at getting some rollers to use this summer as I rehab the broken left fibula. Props to EBondo for these, thanks. Should do the job hopefully as I already have G3's and 703's for the ice.

I believe the 800's can be dressed to look like a few different retail versions.
-
Yep. I noticed the cuffs right away when I opened up the box; very similar to my other PPF gloves. Not sure of the history on these other than they are new gloves. I know the latest ones he uses have his number on them. These and some others I've seen him using in pics don't have the numbers though. Who knows?
-
Stumbled upon them, brand new. Was very pleased to find them to say the least. Fit is pretty snug for a 14" glove compared to the other brands I've used.
-
Got 'em today. Sorry for the crappy phone pics.
-
If you can't prove the hit, you must acquit.
-
Yes, they're Draper's. Will get some better pics and post them in the near future.

Retail black PPF's + India ink works wonders. ;)

Going to be a while before I can use them... but what the heck!

Add me to the list. Last Wed night with only 3 minutes left in the game I was hit from behind. I felt/heard a pop and down I went. I hoped it was a bad sprain. A trip to the doctor the next day showed a broken left fibula about 1.5" or so above the joint. Since the fracture was slightly displaced I had surgery last Friday. Now have a plate and 4 screws in there, or so the wife said, lol. I've not seen the post-op xrays myself. I have a boot on there now and it's a sore mf'er to say the least. I go back to the surgeon on Tuesday and would imagine if there are staples/stitches (not sure what's in there) they'd come out. Also unsure if I keep a boot or if a cast will go on. I hope to be back on the ice during the summer for some skating, and also get back to mountain biking as well. The surgeon said I should not have trouble playing hockey again but I'm sure the pt will not be pleasant.
