  1. Some guys' train of thought is the shortbus version of a train and if they don't see it, they'll forget what they're commenting on.
  2. There was a 9800 and they were the 9500s but instead of Air, they were Gel I think.
  3. As much as I loved the 1350s the changes they made when they came out with the 3300s/4400s were worth it. If they would have just kept the tackified palm, dammit.
  4. My guess is it's a shaft since IIRC the Vapor X blade is standard. I have a standard XXXX shaft and it's...clinky.
  5. It is now but in the early nineties TPX was one a few Louisville items.
  6. All right, I just wanted to make sure and had hoped you weren't one of the people who freak out over graphics/paint coming off a stick.
  7. They should let the young guys participate in the trick shot event. Something tells me that most of the young guys are going to be more creative than guys like Iggy or Thornton. This is another reason the NBA, as much as I don't like it, has better festivities since they get unknowns in the skills comp.
  8. I don't see what's wrong with the stick since that's what sticks are supposed to look like, but the mitts and Klima tape job are haggard.
  9. Just to clarify I meant I don't remember the young stars or whatever having their own skills comp, but the 'real' all-stars do.
  10. I don't remember them having one, but granted it's been a couple years since I watched this "event."
  11. Those gloves say one thing to me: Why so serious?
  12. Compared to what I heard with MIA and definitely Eagle, that's very fast. Last customs I had were some HG1s thru JR and that's about the time frame I saw with those.
  13. There's at least one place that sells it, but they're not listed as a dealer on the website. Plus if I have to go there and the price is based on the store, it'll be way overpriced.
  14. Damn that's fast. That's the sound of my eyebrow raising and seeing what they'll do when I'm a country away from a dealer.
  15. They did for a while and I remember the other mods started getting the boot, but I was still around. Then one time I went to log in and it said I didn't exist. I'm fearful of how that board must be now.
  16. no, I got banned a few years ago and never bothered again. The only ones I took part in were the MM Z-Bubble (first toy drive they had) and the Synthesis one.
  17. It must be d-day on those, my brother's came in today as well.
  18. Minor update: Sticks: AK27 180 with Arnott Z Carbons Gloves: TPS HG1s
  19. My bet is it ends up like the goalie's shooting contest. They just need to have the true skills competition back and it will be infinitely better than it is now, but obviously nothing with mass appeal. At least then maybe EA would see some people that aren't all-stars can actually skate and shoot. The people that do their ratings suck balls.
  20. They could guarantee five-on-five playoff-level hockey and it still wouldn't get any more viewers for it, so it's all moot.
  21. I think one-on-one would have been worse.
  22. That is a creepy level of colour coordination.
  23. CP94s are nice but those pictured seem like a Frankenstein. Those look like they have a very Easton cuff. No big surprise there as that's what he's used a lot in Nashville.
  24. I still don't get the stigma of using Warrior. Sure they have douche-y advertising but it's just as bad as Easton's pompous BS-laden crap. It's still an Inno at its core, so it's not a bad shaft and I don't see the torque being a problem as much as it had been in the past.
