Fixed the dryer before the wife could get a new one, or a newer one.

Is it the plastic or the steel that is out of spec?

Triumphant return to Edmonton. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/david-perron-returns-to-edmonton-rick-nash-takes-nhl-goal-lead-mike-richards-scores-in-ahl/

He was their leading scorer last year, and he doesn't have an A...

Is Perron being dangled because he criticized the Oilers for continually making the same defensive mistakes?
-
x 2. Saw the highlights on TSN last night; he has pride and doesn't give up.
-
He was featured on the HNIC pre-game show, just after the Olympics.
-
I couldn't believe all the TSN and Sportnet prognosticators' picking Hall over Perron from the Oilers to replace Stamkos for the Olympic team.

Good seats? Having no precipitation and better ice made for a better game. It looked good on TV. It was just weird seeing the grass around the skating surfaces.

That's the consistency of modern manufacturing tolerances and quality control. The headlights are on the same amount of time over years. My wife has a Honda Fit, and to change those headlights you have to turn the wheels, unbolt the wheel arch's plastic lining, reach in-and-up, and do everything by feel.

The guy I had on the chopping block put in his 2 weeks' notice today. Phew!! Win for him; he didn't get fired. Win for him; he found another job. Win for the company and me; he's gone of his own volition!
-
We need a pic of him in his Oilers jersey and helmet for the MSH banner, to replace the Blues one.

I just noticed that DP is back in skates with the white eyestays again, à la Kovalev / Denis Savard. No more of Andy Murray's blackening them out!

Edmonton has made all these moves, but the interest doesn't seem to be there this summer. Last summer (before the lockout became big news), all the Oilers fans around here were talking about Krueger, Yakupov, Justin Schultz, etc. in a make-or-break season. Hopefully the Oilers make the playoffs this season.

10-15 hours for me. ROH is 1" or 1+1/4".

I just got some Step Speed XL (equivalent to Bauer LightSpeed 2.1), and the shark fin at the front has serrations on it. Looks like a good idea to reduce the wobble of the blade within the blade holder. I think it's relatively new; my sets of Step Speed from about 2 years ago didn't have this.

I don't know about now, but when he was with Edmonton, Chimera had great straight-line top-end speed, but normal acceleration (he is a pretty big guy) and much below-average agility. So FBV might help him in the turns while preserving his strength (the top-end speed).

Congrats on the start to your career.

K20Z3 engine? with the timing chain?

The only two people who could tell it was a dive were you and the diver. Nobody else has the neural feedback, only visual perception. I hate divers.

Nice vanity plate.

I love winter projects. Creating a daily driver?

That turn of events should actually be a Sweet Spot, because it could have been a much worse outcome. Cars and bumpers can be replaced!

This is anecdotal, but: about 7 yrs ago I got a pair of Bauer 8090s with LS2 steel. This LS2 steel didn't hold its edges very well, and you could see the spike at the point where the laser cutting started and ended. This spike caused the steel to shift around in the holder until I ground it off. Because this LS2 steel didn't hold its edges very well, I was sharpening them all the time, and then replaced them with Step steel, which required much less sharpening. Last year I got a pair of 2nd-hand One95s with LS2.1 steel. It holds its edges as well as the Step steel, and I can go an equal amount of time between sharpenings as with the Step steel. I'm still using this steel, whereas with the other LS2 steel it was done after 6 months. Maybe the newer Bauer steel is comparable to the the Step steel. I do like the taller Step steel, though - a major advantage for replacement steel.
