that was indeed and awesome goal. i was hoping that kovalev was going to use one of his fancy deeks with his crazy hands but he just went with a forehand shot that was easily saved.

Neither do I. IMO Ovechkin is better. Crosby will be a good player but its just too much hype. He's like th Britney Spears of hockey.

I think Crosby will be a solid player. In the new NHL I can seem him being a 50 goal 100 point guy.

Ya that's for sure, the people in the crowd stood up instantly to try and catch the waterbottle.

But on another note I saw one angle and it looked like he was using basically a straight stick, i think i know why he can roof it so easy.

I agree fully, I think this kid is a Great hockey player but the only reason why I didn't like him when he first came into the NHL was because he was in the Q and he was getting interviewed and documented on EVERYTHING!

But he is a good young player but IMO i think Ovechkin will be better in the long run
