jrhky - Any idea on the timetable for shafts?

i was told when the inital production run (starskie) was done they would start the dolamite, mac dady, royale. after that shafts and blades will be made. if i had to guess it would be spring/summer '06.

bought my starskie last thursday and used it this weekend in 3 games. This stick is def an inno design and its awesome that they will be more available now that they have the warrior name on it. I got a fedorov RH 85 flex and the stick is super sweet. Its nice and light and has that innovative kick to it where your shots are rockets. I like how they altered the fedorov curve, i think its slightly bigger then the old easton forsberg/modano. and at the price tag, $150 its well worth the price. i think i found my new stick of choice.

Damn, I knew I was forgetting to ask something.

Tapered: Dolomite graphics tapered shaft and Dolomite tapered blades

Standard: AK27 standard shaft (Gold and Black, so the AK stands for Alexei Kovalev of course) and AK27 standard blades

Both of these shafts are the same construction as the old 1100s.

Do you mean they will release retail Kovalev like shaft? If so great to know and when will they release that.

And the AK blade, will it be a retail or a pro stock blade?

AK27 will be the product line name for the standard blades. They'll probably have retail blade patterns available. You'll probably be able to hunt around for pro stock blades but it will be similar to how the Inno blades ran previously.

Starskie specs

The Limited Edition Starskie 1-Piece features compression-molded constrcution with a Prepeg Graphite blade...delivering great response and durability. Seamless Energy Transfer with its unibody construction, at only 425 grams, eliminates the artificial stiffness created by the overlapping joint of fused sticks. The energy transfer is smoother and quicker, resulting in a lightning fast shot release. Precision Prepeg fiber orientations minimize torque...giving you superior shot accuracy. Computerized foam injection process creates a sharp, natural feel, which you should expect, in today's high performance composite products.

As Chippa said, the "AK27" is just the brand for their retail standard shafts and blades. To my understanding the AK27 is just an 1100 shaft painted similar to Kovalev's pro shaft. The blades will be in their retail patterns.
