I like his "career potential" of 4th line agitator <_< . He's actually been a decent scorer throughout his career prior to playing in the show. And now it looks like he's again, able to put up some decent numbers to go along with his agitating. I find him entertaining (which is not to say that I necessarily like or dislike the guy).

I don't care what kind of season he's had, if the Kings were going to miss the playoff's they could have easily done it without Sean Avery. As far as I'm concerned he's a turd. And from all accounts, it appears his teamates don't feel much different.

EVERY forward in the nhl has a history of putting up points before getting in the nhl. Otherwise they'd be playing in a beer league somewhere.

What a dumbass, Brian was my fav. goallie growing up watching the Habs. The Roy/Hayward tandem was probably one of the best back in the days. Avery is simply a joke, or probably he got too many blows to the head.

Its not the fact that he critiques plays its the fact that his hatred for avery comes out in every single broadcast. This wasnt a one time thing with Hayward saying something about Avery. Every game that hayward does its something else he just has to thrown in about Avery. The way he talks about Avery youd think he had walked into his house and found Avery in bed with his wife and daughter. Hayward had to know that going into the Kings lockerroom after he had ripped Avery apart was going to lead to something happening. When you constantly rip on someone sooner or later they are going to say something back which is exactly what happened.
