Baseball Gloves

Recommended Posts

After reading some of the baseball topics recently, I was wondering what kind of gloves you all are wearing. Last week I got a Rawlings Pro Preferred 12 3/4" Trap-Eze web glove and absolutely love it. I also have a Rawlings Heart of the Hide 1B glove and love it aswell.

What do you guys have???

Still have my old Nokona gloves from high school when I was a pitcher & first baseman. I was a submariner, so I didn't pitch too often. My elbow still hates me to this day.

I have a Rawlings glove with the integrated pump system. I also have a Rawlings catchers mit with the orange padding around the interior of the glove.

I got an Easton Stealth last year. Really comfy glove with a supershort break-in period. Of course I've never been a fan of black gloves as opposed to the classic natural color, but still a nice glove nonetheless! :P

For what it's worth, I'm also toting the mid-level (I forget the name) UnderArmour batting gloves. They're decent enough for the weekly game plus batting cages to keep from blistering up.

For batting glove I think that I have the mid-ranged Under Armour's and they are good except for the fact that the palms are really slick...I have to keep them a little bit damp to stick to my handle.

Rawlings pro TB24 that's gone thru high-school, college and summer leagues. 6-fingered are the way to go.

Eagle makes a great ballglove. I had one for a short while but sent it back as I needed a softball 1B mitt.

I own a Rawlings Century Series and a TPS softball 1B mitt.

Nike..dunno which model for infield. When I do play outfield, I use my ancient Rawlings Tony Gwynn model.

Mizuno supreme. I have had it for years but have yet to use it since I don't really like base/softball. I keep it around "just in case". I know nothing about gloves, but the important thing is it's really pretty.

I have a Rawlings pro601 right now that I got for about 150 less than it's worth but the fastback is really annoying to me so I'm looking for something new.

Rawlings Gold Glove Series HOH PRO-1000BF 11" Pattern infield

Rawlings Gold Glove Series HOH Catcher Mitt don't know exact model, this one is at least 11 years old so all the writting on inside is gone.

Rawlings Gold Glove Series HOH PRO-DBFB 1st Base Mitt

To all those here who love the current glove they have. If you've bought it recently, buy another one NOW! I've had my infield glove for at least 13 years now. When I went to find a replacement for it, I couldn't find it anywhere. After about 4 years of searching off and on for it I finally stumbled onto one on eBay brand new. But he guy wanted $190.00 for it. I bought it and am in the process of breaking it in now.
