What is the best equipment you have owned?

Graf 70's <-

Lowest graf model available at the time. (around 95')

Had plastic skates (from italy) before them.

I could seriously double up on speed and cornering, the first time out on the graf's.

Later I got Graf 501's, which were nice, but didn't feel they were that much better than the 70's, which left me awestruck the first time I tried them.

Never thought I could anything in hockey, until I got those graf's. B)

I still have the plastic skates (size 37euro lol) in my basement, but have been unable to find the Graf's :( :ph34r:

Most comfortable skates = Mega Air 90's and Bauer Air 90's. Never had any pain whatsoever.

Favorite Stick = First generation Easton UltraLite shaft with Koho Revolution blade.

Gloves = Graf Europa (3300's I think).

Inlines = CCM 455's.

Mission Matrix Shinguards - so comfy, love the strap system, and the padded knee caps have extended the life of so many pairs of inline pants

Cooper Techniflex Shoulder Pads - Super lightweight with ample protection

Cooper G3 Girdle - perfect fit and protection in all the right places... I wore mine to shreds

My Graf 705’s were the best skates I ever had and my eagle X70’s.

The ones with the white or silver logos? The white logo ones (older) were absolutely sick. The newer ones seem to all have problems.

My 705 with the white logo for sure, I paid $200 CASH U.S for them in B.C. Still the best skates I have ever had. Also my Jofa 8700 shoulder pads $40 U.S. and KOHO Pro Stock gloves $40 U.S.

Would have to be my old 3000 Supremes-they were supposed to have been Bill Guerins from the 96 Olympic team-Best skates I ever wore!

Almost forgot my old Easton Donzi shoulder pads-a little bulky but bulletproof!!

my ice cap...don't know who manufactures it (it just says icecap on it) and the only place I can find them is hockeymonkey. I've tried different brands but this one is the best for keeping the sweat from pouring down your face.

Never had any skates, shoulder pads, etc that I thought was any better than the stuff I have now.

Mission Matrix Shins. I put 'em on and they seem to disappear.

My pair of Hull Z- Bubble Grip shafts. I'm a stick fiend anyway but I'd love to have some more of these.

copperals

bauer 5000 skates and gloves (nylon)

The toes on my 5000 skates got chewed up so easily. Within a month after I bought them you could see the plastic underneath the covering.

I've had my can since atom. Ripped like 5 times, but refused to get a new one so sewed 'er up.Also when I had my Junior Tri-core with a Focus Flex. Best shot i've ever had even though I had that in peewee. I'd do anything to get it back.

Yeah I like my Bauer 5000 too but it started leaking gel on my hair. I've had it probably like 3 years and i started leaking like a year and a half after using it.

I had a 5000 as well but after about one season of using it the very front gel part just flattened out and it seemed like all the gel had gone somewhere and there was none left. It was kinda weird.

Yeah the front was the worst, I ended up ripping it out and putting clear tape over the sticky part.

my cup ;)

Yup totally agree, however the technology changes I still know that the cup was the greatest equipment piece I've owned and ever created.
