yeah, thank God. I always worry when sizes are involved when ordering stuff online. Plus I got to have them baked to my foot and sharpened.

How much stiffer are the KOR than the Synergy 1500c skates? Im looking at a pair of Shift 2, but dont want them to be so stiff that they affect my skating..I read they have good forward flex so I should be fine correct?

The Shift 1 fit me differently than the Shift 2's size-wise. I got a 10 in the Shift 2. The 10 in the Shift 1 was a lot more snug. I'm no rep, but the 2's seemed to be a half size bigger than the 1's (S2 10 = S1 10.5). Try 'em on if you can! I'm an 11 shoe size.

According to earlier posts in this thread the Shift 2 is supposed to be a wider and deeper boot than the Shift 1 so that could explain the sizing issue you had. They may be the same length, but since the Shift 2 has more width and volume it wouldn't feel as snug. With that said trying them on is of course a great idea if it's possible.

The thing I don't get is on the sizing charts I am different sizes in different skates (and my shoe size) all don't match up? I am a 8 One90, 8.5 Mission, 10 shoe and my left foot measures exactly 10 3/4" and my left 10 1/2" exactly? I just don't know what to get?

id say 8.5. i was a 9 in a bauer. and my kors in 9 1/2 fit like a glove

My kor size was the same as my Mission S500 size. I havnt been able to skate in my Kors yet as im still nursing a broken ankle but the fit seems right just lacing them up.

My KORS are also the same size as my Mission size - 8.5. I also wear 10 dress shoes.

Sounds like you weren't sized properly for one of them. Both versions of the shift were a half size off from my S500s.

10EE Mission in the S500 and they're as snug as they could be. I have to make sure my toenails are properly trimmed before games with them. Fuels are slightly larger, but not a half size difference. 10.5 in the Kor and they're almost as snug as the S500, but not as large as the Fuels.

I tried on a 9EE in the Mission Fuel 120 AG skates today but they were too narrow. Very uncomfortable for me. I was surprised that they were EE's.

Question, I am looking at buying a pair of Shift 2's from a guy locally that used them once and baked them once. If I rebake them, will they correctly form to my foot?

A wider skate will not become more narrow after baking without significant manipulation on your part.

Actually 7.5 is a better bet. 8 might be too big for you.
