RBK had a seeding program at the ONEGoal show in Toronto. It was a business card with an URL to claim your free stick. They gave it to select people as there weren't many to give out - every rep had about 5 cards.

not to jump on your topic, but i had the chance to finally use the 9k i got this past week, used it for 2 games and its not bad, i dont want to jump the gun and say if it is good or bad yet, i have only used it for 2 games, but it has a definite different feel then say my SE or dolomite. Jr would probably have a more in depth review then mine anyway

Awhile ago at was at the memorial cup in vancouver and the rbk guys were there and i got to mess around with the sticks and when i picked up the 9ko it seemed really off balance and a little more heavier than i would have expected

I saw the 9k o at my LHS and agree with others on it being very blade heavy. On top of that, the price tag of $300 CDN was pretty ridiculous for an unbalanced stick.

Ugh...I had all but forgotten about those things; friggin' bricks that they were.

I got my hands on the 9k this weekend and didn't much mind the balance of the stick - I like a little weight in the blade. Unfortunately, I've never been a fan of the RBK blades, and prefer a lower kicking shaft.

I cannot agree more. I love Rbk's marketing behind the stick "The Power Ports combine to create an extremely low kickpoint in the Power Port Zone" Low kickpoint on the O stick? Yeah whatever.

I'm already on my second 9k o stick....... I got 2 from the redwings equipment sale 6/15 and broke one 2 weeks ago. It broke right in the middle of the shaft.These were both new at the time of purchase
