Agreed, it's one thing to change the cut of the jersey. It's another to rob teams of having any kind of uniform identity.

There are two players in this game: NBH and NCAA universities. So, while we can blame NBH for designing and getting these jerseys to the schools, the Athletic Departments had to agree to taking them. We know the ADs just loved the big fat $$$ that came along with the jerseys in terms of other equipment, advertising $$$, and more $$$ into their programs. Blame the schools as much as NBH for these jerseys. I agree that to have the same pattern jersey across multiple schools is ridiculous. Lets see this happen in NCAA football or basketball. Not a chance!

Actually it has! Nike has a football and basketball template. OSU obviously does not use the football one (and never will) but the basketball team does now.

Miami and Maine's jersey's are the worst. I dont mind Sioux, and NH, but still I dont see why people will let nike take over the look of their franchise. I guess it's all about the money now a days.

I got to see NMU's when I was in MQT last weekend, I stopped in at the Berry and saw some of the boys. One of my GF's friends is dating Kevin Porter, that's how I saw UofM's.

i like the aesthetic of the jerseys, i think the more fitted look makes the game look faster and leaner but there definately needs to be a lot more freedom in the design. hopefully, in a year or two there will not be the need for each jersey design to represent the "swift" image and we'll get to see more creative/traditional styling emerge.
