Gear Whores, what do you gearwhore the most?

Umm...lets see...everything. I don't tend to collect different items at once though(like owning several pairs of gloves at one time). If a new pair of gloves, protective, etc. comes out that I like...I get it and then sell my old equip.

If I absolutely love something, I'll keep it and get a new one of it though(such as my stealths and rbk helmets i have used for a while...)

I don't whore on much, but I do love helmets and cages. I like to try out different buckets and cages, trying to get the perfect combo. I think I've settled on an NBH 4500 and a white Jofa FM480.

I collect anything hockey-related though. Bobbleheads, t-shirts, hats, jerseys, etc.

Pants, I seem to always be able to come up with a really good justification to try a new pair of pants. That and my pet peeve is guys with ripped up pants that look more like hockey skirts than hockey pants.

The only thing that I can't not talk myself out of is cheap and in good condition gloves. But then again I got my one90s new for $90, my in good condition used eagle x-50s for $45 shipped and my used twice TPS HGT Pros(in my teams color) for $50 shipped... Who can say no to that?

I completely forgot facial protection. I have 2 black fm480s, an 8500, an 8000, a HS22 pro wave and made a "bid" on an Oakley combo on here. Why I need 6 face guards when I have 3 helmets is beyond me.

Visors seem to be my weakness. Between me wanting to try new visors and people breaking them on me, I think Ive had 6 visors in the last year...

not too bad on the sticks, i have about 3 that i use and 2 or 3 old ones that i just keep around the basement.

gloves are my soft spot, i currently have 4 pairs in rotation and another on the way, plus 2 old "usable"-or at least i tell my packrat self so- kicking around

I got these gloves from Perani's on closeout in 97 for $60. They have a tackified palm. the gloves were custom for Brett Hull. His name is in ink on the side roll. This was during his Easton and Rawlings years.

I collect gloves. Lots and lots of gloves. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
