Nike/Bauer ONE95/ONE75 Skates

Recommended Posts

Yet you give away a membership on a low-margin item such as skates?

Ours, when you buy a membership on a pair of high-end skates, is more than half-paid for after the discount you get on the skates. However, it is not remotely close to what these guys are doing.

Oh well, if you wanna make 20 pts, better you than me.

yeah I don't know the business side of these things, all i know is to become a member you can either pay $25 for a year-long membership, or you get a free year-long membership with a skate purchase.

It's not just the skates though, everything in the store is cheap. When you have 3-4 big hockey stores all within about 5 miles the competition drives the prices down a bit.

What is the name of the store and the location? I'm heading to the cities for the high school hockey tournament in march and wouldn't mind checking them out.

It seems to be in Blaine...Not too far from St Paul..I'd say 20-25 min tops in traffice. I've never been in there nor heard of it, but they seem to have been in business for 25 years according to the website. I've never shopped for hockey gear in the northern suburbs, so I'm not all that knowledgeable about that area. I've heard Dave's Sport Shop up in Fridley is pretty good though. I hear Hockey Zone is pretty decent too..I usually get my gear at Westwood in Bloomington or Apple Valley, but there's a great little shop in Eden Prairie as well.

Yea, Lettermen's is cheaper, but Dave's has a way better slection IMHO and is more hockey knowledgable. And Dave's isn't as tricky to get to

I believe it is one90 specs but with the deeper fit, to be more specific. I know it is one90 specs(based on material).

*refering to one75

hmm I'm a little confused, will the one75 and one95 fit like the 8090 ? or does the supreme 70 already fit like the 8090? I'm only asking because my 8090 are about to bust and it is the only skate I've been able to say I'm 100% comfortable in
