Has anyone ordered anything from this site? What was the service like?

Thanks.

I checked out their website and I have never ordered from them but I did compared product prices with other websites and their prices seem to be higher.

I'm not sure if location and service matters to you alot but you might want to try and check out this other websites. They're located here in Ca. They usually have better deals then others and their customer service is pretty good. I haven't had any problems with them so far.

www.hockeymonkey.com or www.rollerhockeymonkey.com

www.hockeygiant.com

www.inlinewarehouse.com

www.epuck.com

www.discounthockey.com

I have placed orders from the first four websites. I'm not too sure about discounthockey.com but it's worth a try.

Hope this helps.

Yeah I've checked out most of those other sites. I'm actually looking for the nike bauer supreme accel lites and the price at hockeyoutlet.com was the cheapest ($120 compared to $200 at hockey giant). At the moment, I don't know if they are a trustworthy site. Their pictures aren't clear and they call their skates the nike bauer super accelerator lites. I'm sure it's the same skate but I just want to make sure it's not some cheap knock off.

they seem legit, but i would order w/ a credit card in case of any problems. That way you can just do a chargeback if something happens. The wicked light 3's are 199 compared to hockeygiant's 279

Both HockeyGiant and InlineWarehouse have price match guarantees if your skeptical.

I noticed that the prices of the mission skates went back up recently right when i was gonna buy them. Does mission have rules regarding how much stores can clearance their skates at?

HockeyOutlet.com is owned by SportsGiant (same company that owns Hockey Giant and apparently EPuck).

Might be a different staff though. This month's USA Hockey Magazine is the first I've noticed them.

I went their website once and there were some really weird things going on, like items being priced for $0.00.

I was curious to get a shipping quote, but since the site didn't seem to offer shipping estimates in an obvious place, I figured that the only way to get one would be to place an order, get the final total and then cancel. (I was also curious as to whether or not their website system would actually allow someone to order something for "$0.00" too.) Anyway, since I was too lazy to fill out a real street address (I think most shipping prices are estimated by ZIP Code), I filled in junk really quickly for that field and a few others. Well, apparently I must have accidentally confirmed my sample order instead of cancelling because I ended up getting this message from hockeyoutlet:

Asdf [the junk name I entered],

Thanks for placing your Order ##### at www.Hockeyoutlet.com . We have processed your order of the Bauer 6000 Shoulder pads and will be sending them out on Monday. We would like to thank you again for you order and hope you contiue doing business with us.

Thanks again,

www.hockeyoutlet.com

P.S. Nice "FRAUDULENT ORDER" ASSHOLE! Do you think we are STUPID? We are sending this information to the AUTHORITIES to catch people like you. Thanks for YOUR STUPIDITY.

----------

Needless to say, I've been laying low and hiding out in the caves of Tora Bora to avoid the long arm of the authorities.

When I lived in Hermosa I would go down to there store to buy Inno sticks and other stuff. It was a cool little place. Sorry to here it closed. I can say that since living in AZ. I placed one order for 4 Inno's while they were closing them out and had great service. That was just my experience.

I ordered a bag and some skate hardware from them a few months back. Not all of the hardware showed up in the package, so I emailed them and they got me my stuff right away. That was my only experience though, can't really complain...

I have ordered twice of them, Fast and efficent and cheap, even the shipping. I am located in Australia, Townsville ( middle of no where) And from the day I placed my order ( a friday night US time) it was at Australian customs the following Friday.

The USPS shipping and provide a tracking number as soon as the item is sent. Much like Hockeymonkey.

Hope this helps
