Bad transaction with sniper14. Four problems.

1. Incompetent and lazy. When tracked parcel did not arrive on time, I PM'd about whereabouts. He responded with vague replies about the tracking number (which I had to provide to him) and promises to check on it. It took a request for a refund and a threat of bad feedback to get a reasonable response out of him.

2. Lied about goods. When asked explicitly about the flex and if it was visible on the shaft, he stated it was a pro stock, didn't have the flex indicated, and said it "felt" like a regular/40kp flex. When it finally arrived, it was clearly marked as Stiff/45kp.

3. Horribly exaggerated about description of shaft.

"rbk 6k shaft spray pinted black at the tip 50$" - was the description

Spray painted black at the tip. I didn't expect 18 inches (40%) of the shaft to be spray painted black.

4. Eventually I asked for a refund. Even though it's bad form, here's his response.

"hey not much i can say.. i told you it would be spray oainted so there was no white.. i didnt lie about that i did lie about the flex but to me it felt like a regular flex... and i dont get how it isnt tall enough? i dont have the money to refund rght now but i will do it a.s.a.p, let me know what you wanna do, sorry about that.. i just needed some cash a.s.a.p for bills and stuff, leave neg feedback i deserve it.. "

After asking for a refund again, he replies:

"hey sorry i dont have the mnoey in my paypal.... can i send you the payment in like 2 days? cause my paypal is frozen... i have no money in it to send... "

I said "Ok, you have 2 days upon receipt of this." He asks for a further extension. (to Monday, Aug 7th) I'm cool with it.

It's the 9th, no refund and no further communication, even though the tracked messages say he's got my PM's.

If anybody needs the correspondance regarding the transaction from Hell, let me know. Needless to say, I'm pissed off.

Bought some shafts from SLAW: Very unusual experience for me. The guy was very busy and was off for long periods of time due to school, work and such. I honestly didn't think the guy was coming back sometimes. I got even more nervous when another board member said he was a deadbeat buyer so I told him I refused to send him the money upfront and that if he wanted to complete the deal he would have to meet me locally or mail me the stuff first. I asked him to go around and talk to some other board members who knew me and find out I was a honest guy and I would pay him immediately after receiving the stuff. So the guy sends me the stuff and the post office loses the stuff. After almost 2 weeks later they find the stuff and I finally get the stuff. I have to say he kept his end of the bargin and delivered the goods and took the risk of me running off and not paying. I don't know how many people would go for this type of deal. As promised I paid him immediately after getting the goods.
