Is it a Itech Aviator or a Itech Pro-stock?

Spreedizzle 1 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 I sweat too much to use a visor without windshield wipers....so I am a cage man. For me it is either my 1092 with an Itech Half Wire, or my 8500 with the silver oval cage.
Habs21 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 I use an oakley 2.0...I love my face too :) it's a bit longer and goes right under my nose which is perfect and never fogs up. I love it
zales17 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 I really like my Oakley Pro Straight visor, but to be honest with you, if your playing beer league (like a B or C level) then you might want to get used to a cage. there are a lot of benders out there who have no control over their stick, and you just might end up losing some teeth. On a side note...does the oakley Small Straight visor fit on medium helmets...(in other words, is it a visor for small helmets or is it the length of the visor that is "small"?) QandA 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 It's the length, it barely goes past your nose. It can fit on any helmet, might need washers though.
Rustpot 1 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 What do you guys do with a visor that gets too scratched for you to use? I've been wanting to try out a few different visors, but I don't want to shell out $50 just to not like it.

I like to get the longest visor I can to cover the nose, and just above the bridge of the top of my mouth if possible. The VR910 is the longest of the bunch, and covers the majority of the face. I like the VR903 as it covers the eyes and the nose. I just can't wear a cage anymore.
swede 50 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 none.. I have a hs22 straight and like it, but it fogs to much.. In januari, when it's often -30 to -40 degrees celsius outside, it can be like -15 degrees celsius inside at the rink, so it's allmost impossible to wear a visor. It's either cage or nothing.. Habs21 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 The visor XXXX is talking about is the Dany Heatley visor...mine is almost as long, I think it's like 0.5 inches shorter but still protects most of my face.I know it won't be much help but I had a picture of my 1 year old son with my helmet/visor on and you can see that it's pretty long...I wouldn't go shorter...but then again, i'm a wimp :)
thegongshow13 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 Haha sweet pic, and to the person that said I should wear a cage for beer league, I have been wearing one for about 3 years and i've only been high sticked in the cage maybe twice so i'm not really nervous about that, as far as length go I don't want to get the wave because it looks like it only covers your eyes, I want something that goes to around the tip of my nose, doesn't matter if its a little bit shorter but nothing longer then that, but thanks for all your help so far. gjknorr 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2007 I currently use an Oakley small pro straight cut and an Itech h22 straight cut tinted for pick-up outdoors the tint works well when skating into the sun. But it sounds like you are looking for something with a little more coverage.I used to use an Itech RBE1, older style but plenty of coverage and inexpensive can't complain about it
