Off topic, but check out the risers on the right foot of Doan's skate in the Ebay auction? Would that be because he has one leg shorter than the other? It seems like a big difference between the height of the left and right skate?

Yes, both skates have the white heel lifts but there is also a black heel lift on the front and back of the right skate. Pretty big ones, about 5mm, in addition to the white one.

Yes, he most likely has a leg length discrepancy on the right leg. That's why it is even front to back.

Not sure if this has been asked or not...on the skates, they come with the RR...does it also come with normal steel for when the sharpenings on the RR run out? Or will I have to go buy a new set of steel if I don't like the RR and don't wish to continue using them?

No, you would have to swap out the Rbk E-Pro holders for a pair of CCM E-Pro holders before you could do the steel swap.

there's a rumor going around that the U+ is gonna be retailing at significantly less than other companies' top-liners. any truth to this (lookin' at you, JR)???? or is it just what i said it was: a rumor?

No, you would have to swap out the Rbk E-Pro holders for a pair of CCM E-Pro holders before you could do the steel swap.

The RBK e-pro holders are the same as the ccm epro, only difference is the writing. All CCM steel is interchangeable with RBK steel and vice versa. No holder swap is needed.

Got a stick on the way (Friday Delivery)...Hopefully my earlier reservations about them prove to be nothing but just that. Willing to write up a short/long term review when applicable. I'm giddy with anticipation. As I said earlier, gotta be careful in banging my stick in a fit of anger. Yeah, Right :P Well, regular season is over, so now it's just FUN hockey, hopefully, that'll help in that aspect.
