Did Afinogenov finally run out of Vapor 10's?

He's been wearing a few pairs of different skates lately. He was in XXXXs a couple weeks ago, but was back wearing the 10s the next night. This is the first I've seen of him in Fuels.

Those look really really tall and he laces all the way up. Suprised he can freaking skate in those things. The odd thing is he's a damn good skater too.

Not just you. Afinogenov looks like Bure so much it's creepy.

Its not so much the way they look but rather the way Afino and Smyth model their gear style almost as a homage to their predecessors.

and the fact that Afinogenov puts three rolls of tape around his ankles(essentially wrekcking the tendon guards) just like Bure, his nice, mullet sorta hair style, and his ability to fly down the ice, and still be mostly in control of himself

Well, as people say, Skates like Pavel, Dekes Like Pavel, shoots like Pavel, Scores like Valeri.

Afinigenov has raw Talent, lightning quick speed and amazing Hand-Eye coordination, but cant get anything from it, i dont really know why.

:) He needs to get stronger on his skates. He is a great skater but gets knocked off the puck easily. IMO off season leg strength training (plyometrics and such)

first of all, its only one goal, second of all, it was barely even on purpose

I didn't know that a goal in the NHL could be on purpose. I mean...you can put the puck on net 'with a purpose'. But past that, no goal is ever on purpose.
