innovative shafts

Recommended Posts

Buy a Warrior. I really don't see why there's a demand for Inno shafts when they're the same shafts. "Innovative" isn't that cool to have on a shaft either, so graphics shouldn't matter.

Well i d'ont know I used to have an inno shaft and I really liked it but i didn't find the same quality in some of my warriors. I bought a royale and it broke in 32 days. I was pissed cuz my warranty just finished

The problem with that isn't that it was a Warrior product though. The problem there is the Royale is a price-point stick and not like anything Innovative had. If you liked the 1100 shafts, go with a Dolomite (tapered) or AK27 (standard).

This is what I've been waiting on myself. That or finding more LH Mogilny pattern Noviuses.(Novii?) I've got two blue ones already and I'd be damned if I can find another.

My guess is that if they haven't by now, they probably won't. I think there was more of a following for polarfibre and that hasn't been put on anything retail yet. Until Warrior decides they need a "new" technology to put on their sticks, it's probably going to stay rare. If/when they do re-release it, I'm sure it'll be referenced to some sort of penile enhancement. If there's one thing Warrior loves, it's cock. If there are two things Warrior loves, it's passing off old products as new ones.

I searched and found that these novius shafts had something called a boron spine. What exactly is this? Other than this was it the same as the 1100's?

The Boron Spine was a sort of reinforcement in the backhand side of the shaft which resulted in an "Asymmetrical Flex" - it had an effect on the way the shaft kicked/torqued through the shot (and also, some would argue, the durability of the stick). This is why there are LH and RH options for the shaft.

Terrific shafts/sticks, though I prefer(red) the 1100s/Dolomites.

those Innovative 1100 shafts were some of the best shafts i have ever used. too bad nobody paid them much attention ( everybody was drinking a different flavour KoolAid back then ). funny now how they are gone people miss them. the Dolo is as close as you will get to an 1100 ( minus the PolarFibre..... funny how some pros have their Dolos made with PF ).

The boron spine worked like a mofo! Great shafts durability wise as well. In my mind the single best stick ever, especially the grip version.

Loved the kick of the novius, hated the torque. Worst torque of any shaft I have used.

I'll agree with that.

You've obviously never tried a Nike Quest 1.. Makes Novius seem true when it flexes...

I had a pro stock Boucher, hated it but torque wasn't the biggest problem.

Slightly off topic, but can anyone compare the 70 flex Dolomite intermediate shafts to the Mission L-2 75 flex intermediate? I'm torn between trying out a Dolo that can take senior blades or snatching up another of the L-2's (which only take older Mission blades).

Maybe the next generation Kronik will have the boron spine. That way they can MARKET it as the Super Elite Stick. I think that it would only make sence.

I wouldn't be suprised if they called it that. Who was it that called "Johnson" as their next stick?

was it they called it or did warrior take it from him?
