Your first love... the curve of your choice

Diddo on the Yzerman. I broke out an old Easton Pro blade for pond hockey this year. Fun, but the lie is too high, I could never use it for real.

WOW....great question...

ummm....the 2 curves that i REALLY went nuts over....

the Recchi CCM curve that they used to toss on the ABS sticks.....IMO, the Recchi on the composites seem a bit different than that older curve....i used to love a curve with as little hook on it as possible and i remember that one being great.....

also loved the Bauer Lindros from years ago....and that i can PROVE is different than the P88 that NBH rocks now...i kept some of those older Lindros sticks i used to use for sentimental reasons and i compared the curve abouts 2 months ago (i have a Vapor VIII as my ice backup in P88) and it's a WORLD of difference....

right NOW....i'm rocking the P91 for my ice league and the Ovechkin for outdoor roller league.....HUGE difference between what i used to use and what i use now......but that also has a lot to do with having played ball hockey in the past and playing more with a puck recently

when I started playing road hockey (many, many, many moons ago), there was no such thing as a choice of curve, rather it was LH or RH. Good 'ol Canadian Tire woody (cheapest they had!).

I seem to go back to the Forsberg or Iginla. Then again I seem to change my curve and stick every time I play. Never really happy, probably because I'm never satisfied with my playing, and think that changing the stick will help.

The old Sherwood Coffey till they made it a banana...

I second that. I also liked the Sherwood Bondra and for roller I loved the old Titan 115 IW ABS blades.

Sakic, SK-11 in RBK and P92 in NBH. It has enough curve for puck-handling on the forehand and lets me do things on the backhand sometimes too.

Not to get off topic, but I saw mention of the RBK SK-11, where can you get these blades/sticks with this curve? Right now I am using the SA Crosby curve with my sherwood sticks, absolutely love this curve. But I do have an RBK 7k shaft comming and would like to get the RBK equivelant blade to the sakic, otherwise looks like a tappered sherwood SA crosby blade.
