D aka speck 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 Are warrior sticks shitty made like NHB?Not true ops, no carbon inside, stickers tactile feel ... ? WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?First of all, I'm not a Warrior fan.I despise them entirely!But... what are you talking about "true" OPS ?Which "true" OPS do you use?AND>>> What does carbon have ANYTHING to do with a stick being constructed as a "true" OPS. anyway? There is a substance called GRAPHITE!I've never heard of a first grader obtaining a PhD... nor have I heard of a know it all obtaining a girlfriend.Quit while you still have a chance Mr. Knowsitall.or you will suffer indignant cruelty from the folks on this board, the likes of which, will make you pee yourself. Vathsdrop 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 No the thing is that I bought a NHB 190 stick -It's not a true OPS. It's several pieces stick togheter-the shaft is not made of carbon (Except the blade)-their "tactical feel" thing is just a sticker which goes off very quickly.-The finishing is awful if you look all over the shaft you can see that the tactical feel stickers are not even well ajusted. They are not straight. All of that for 169dollars If I knew I would have choose something else. But I don't know for the other brand. I think with CCM you have much for your money with their stick (true carbon, true OPS).I like the look of the Warrior stick as well but I have no idea on the construction quality. Thatš why I ask.I knew that all NHB gears in general have a very bad construction but now even for the stick it's a joke.

CCM is as guilty as NB of making a stick that isn't constructed from one entire piece. However, does it really matter if the stick is a True1? There really aren't any real performance benefits. brettlynch11 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 who cares about the graphics just being stickers. the performance of the stick doesnt go down if it doesnt look as 'pretty'and by the time the sticks end up looking really beat up they usually brak anyway

yipperzz 28 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 they're probably out of stock until the next seasons stuff come in. i tried getting some gear (non warrrior) around the same time the past 2 years (i don't know why but i always need it during spring) and my LHS is usually low on stock until they get next season stuff in. Those that are not "true" OPS are not made of several pieces, they're made of two, a shaft, and a blade...I don't even know what you're getting at by saying their shaft is not made of carbon.Pretty sure you mean "tactile", not "tactical".Also, CCM OPS are not "true" OPS. Again, I have no idea what "true" carbon could even refer to. Maybe that's the kind of carbon that doesn't cheat on it's boyfriend when it's out of town. I don't know.
