JR Boucicaut

Another gem from JR's custom shop

Ahh, that's right, he talked about those at the MSH skate. I was surprised since he's a Vapor whore!

Fixed for truth.

His will be the last skates I ever order.

It's just not worth it for me. I don't see any money out of the transaction as it goes through another store and the manufacturers won't open an account for me just to do this.

JR can't you become, I don't know if this is the correct word, like a freelancer, work in collaboration with certain brands or shops and continue ordering custom stuff for people?

Wow...glad I got mine in before you pulled the plug!

Thanks JR! Let me know if I can send you anything extra for your time.

I'm already doing that and I am telling you that I don't make any money now.

I don't want to offer a custom skate that is going to cost someone $900 when it is said and done.

Thanks JR! Let me know if I can send you anything extra for your time.

That won't be necessary.

I just need your address to ship them to.

Look for another collaboration with another shop/person/brand/whatever, negociate a deal, get discounts, I don't know. I'm sure you studyed all the aspects, but maybe there is something you missed. Best of luck to you, cheers.

Not skates, but much appreciated from JR. Two gloves for players; go with perfectly with the blue/grey/black scheme the team uses.

The picture of the 16" upside down you can see the old school cuff well. the fingers fit like a 14" but the cuff is a doosey

wtf 16 inches? even chara use smaller!

Well, as a new glove, a bit stiff but they are two-piece fingers so it's helpful. It's a lock thumb which I haven't used in years so it felt really odd to me. Gloves aren't my cup of tea (I like a different fit) but they are gorgeous....

How flexible are the fingers?

Can't wait to see my pair of gems on here....counting down the days....

Custom X60's?

Still debating. Jason did a pair for me...going to try them on. If I like them, the order goes in to the zen master for 2 pair

CCM U+ Pro Reloaded

Pro stiffness

Thicker ankle pads

Unmounted

Black felt tongue

On the original order, he had requested a gripliner, however was not a retail custom option. The first set of skates came with a retail clarino liner, however, the stiffness was regular. Thanks goes to Corry and Steven who is a customer service supervisor for redoing the skates, and as a bonus, the skates came with a nash liner. I've never seen this liner in skates before, but it feels very comfortable. Simon should be very happy with these.

These are CapsFan's skates. I fitted him at the MSH DC Skate.

As you can see, new logo on the ONE95 skate. He has a full size difference between the two. See if you can notice what I did? :)

Got it.

Notice that on one skate you can see blue under the toecap and on the other you can't. The right skate is the bigger one and I didn't want to go 288 on it as it would be too big on the left skate. So, we kept 280, and went ahead and put the 2.1 steel on that skate so that when they are lined up, the steel will match the left skate.
