CAn someone scan the picture from the hockey news?

I saw the ad too in THN. There really was no picture of the new skate. Just a mainly white page that had a faint image of a skate in it and the words CHOOSE16, like chooSE16 at the bottom. No real picture to scan though.

color debate again..........

hey the 50's called they want there attitudes back ;P

now im in agreement here that all black skates are the most classic skates there are and usually the best looking but,

shouldn't skates be white anyways?

not in most leagues and levels of play does it matter what color your skates are because lets be honest here...

it doesn't take much to look down and find the puck in your skates

at the pro level however it could technically, and logically, should make a difference to find the puck faster in your skates (again only at the pro level does this matter)

who knows when you might need that half milisec to get your head back up to avoid the oncoming train that is on the tracks your stuck in with that good ole' VN foam bucket ........on your way to see Mr. Concussion

finding a black puck on white ice with white skates crowding that lil fella's area well.....seems reasonably easier if only in my brain ;)

not to mention they will look..., for lack of a better word; SICK!!!!

barring performance difference in the color of something that is meant to do one thing regardless of color we cannot forget those of us that will not buy something based on looks no matter how good it is or the advantages it gives us

hence anyone not wearing an up to date bucket ie; Bauer 4000 (or those from the same concept disregarding brand)

just because it doesn't make you look like a plug(which you might be anyways)

all you hockey shop workers know what im talking about, we see it everyday

who knows maybe those who want flashy equipment are worried there game won't shine through

so they have something that will make them stand out instead

or maybe they just love kewl gear and will be in something new next year anyways

most players in hockey leagues around the wolrd including ppl from this forum will sit on the bench and make fun of those ppl anyways

either way...... we're all looking ;)

Actually, that white skate doesn't look too disgusting, of all the white skates, it's the most appealing, probably because it's a white on silver and not white on black. The white/black ones just look out of place.

The only white skates I really liked was the original Nike's, and that's because they were different (at the time). I just bought some Graf 727's and love the classic look, skates today just don't do it for me... I think a lot of skates today, especially Vapor's, look like absolute arse, but that's just my opinion :)

i don't know about you, but i love these easton white skates, they look very.... gangsta  . i think that a skate looks best when the holder matches the color of the boot, like in this case or in the case of the SE ccm vectors, black on black looks great. someone edited in photoshop a pair of one95s with black holders and they looked so much better than with the white ones.

you're right: Silver and white... definately a winning combo!

I for one really like the look of these. It seems like they might have come closer to a solution for the toe cap covering. These kind of remind me of their 03 air comp models that I think Zetterberg still wears. Gonna have to get me a pair since for the most part I'm an Easton guy; love the S-17 helmet by the way/

sorry to bring this off topic but how do these skates preform? i am in xxxx's right now and i've been thinking about eastons for the past year or so but just haven't been able to bring myself to get them, how do they compare to the xxxx's cause i really like a skate that comes up higher on my ankle (i can't skate in grafs or missions). i also have a pretty narrow foot so do you think this skate might work? i also am stuck at school now with no close lhs's with easton skates. thanks in advance guys.

i have never really seen a "true" equipment whore. when you think about it, most kids can't afford tons of stuff. is the whoredom more in the adult leagues?
