Am I the only one who is missing the point of that post?

"Reg is our coach."

Paul Newman has passed away. Makes me pretty sad, but he had a legendary career. He was probably my favorite actor of all time, with my top Newman film's being: Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and you guessed it Slap Shot.

I meant the post by Wex, what the heck was that about?

Can't leave out The Sting, The Hustler and The Color of Money. Classics.

I'm a pool player and not just a gear whore for hockey. I've sold my good stuff but still have a McDermott and my Meucci, to accompany my J&J jump/break. :)

I think all I have left is a predator sneaky pete, a jacoby with pred shaft, and some little jump cue....ohhhh the days I spent in a pool hall when I should have been in class!

Predator guy huh? Cant say I loved the 314 shaft. I love my red dot meucci shaft. The meucci bullseye wasnt very good, 1st gen or 2nd.

Same thing could be said about that red dot of yours! At least I dont havet to worry about a dot facing up! ;) I havnt played in 2 years probably, oh well, it was good while it lasted.

I always remember watching the hustler and color of money, thats what Ill always remember Newman for movie wise.

Paul Newman the man was even better than Paul Newman the actor.

That's the part that deserves so much more attention. Not only was he a fantastic actor, up there with Bogart and the other greats, but his charitable work was amazing. You also have to respect the fact that he actually downplayed it instead of promoting how great he was.
